Mr. Kim passed YN a pillow and a spare blanket as she made her way towards the couch.

She laid down on the couch covering her with the warm blanket as she tried to sleep.

Yn attempted to make herself comfortable on the couch, hoping to find some sort of escape from the stormy night.

But the cushions felt lumpy, and the relentless thunder outside made it impossible to relax. With each boom of thunder, she flinched, her heart racing with fear.

Despite her exhaustion, sleep eluded her, leaving her feeling restless and on edge. She longed for the storm to pass and for the peaceful embrace of morning to arrive.

Yn kept her eyes tightly closed, hoping to drown out the sounds of the storm. An hour passed, but she remained in the same tense position, unable to find any peace.

Suddenly, she felt a gentle tap on her shoulder. Startled, she opened her eyes and turned to see Mr. Kim standing beside the couch, his expression filled with concern.

"Yn." Mr. Kim said softly, his voice breaking through the tension of the storm. "You shouldn't be sleeping on the couch. It's not comfortable, and it's not helping you relax."

Yn glanced up at him, her eyes still filled with fear of storm.

"But I don't want to bother you. You need to rest too." she protested, though her voice wavered with exhaustion.

Mr. Kim shook his head, his expression determined. "You're not bothering me. Please, come sleep in the bed. It's much more comfortable, and I want to make sure you're okay."

Yn hesitated as she was feeling a weird sensation run down her spine on the idea of sleeping together on one bed. Even though, their relationship as roommates had evolved but still the idea of Sharing a bed is too much.

"Yn," Mr. Kim began gently, noticing her hesitation, "if you're uncomfortable with the idea, it's okay. We can find another solution."

Yn bit her lip, torn between her fear of the storm and her reluctance to intrude on Mr. Kim's space. "I don't want to bother you," she murmured, her voice barely above a whisper.

Mr. Kim shook his head, a reassuring smile on his lips.

"You're not bothering me, Yn. I want to help you feel safe. How about this: we can both sleep on the bed, but we'll keep some cushions between us for your comfort. That way, you won't feel uncomfortable, and I'll be here if you need anything."

Yn's eyes softened at his kindness, a warmth spreading through her despite the storm raging outside. With a grateful nod, she agreed to his suggestion, feeling a sense of relief wash over her at the thought of him being considerate, and nevertheless she didnot had to face her fear alone.

As they settled down on the bed, putting some cushions between them, Mr. Kim closed his eyes, seemingly ready to drift off to sleep.

Yn couldn't help but admire him, her gaze lingering on his serene expression. She found herself captivated by the way the soft glow of the bedside lamp highlighted his features, casting gentle shadows across his face.

In the quiet of the room, with only the distant rumble of thunder breaking the silence, Yn felt her heart swell with affection for her roommate.

She had always admired his kindness, his charm, but in that moment, something shifted within her.

As she watched him, a warmth spread through her chest, and she realized with a start that she had fallen for him.

Her mind raced with thoughts of what could be the possibility of something more than just friendship between them. But as quickly as the idea entered her mind, she pushed it aside, uncertain of how Mr. Kim would respond to her newfound feelings.

Closing her eyes, Yn silently vowed to cherish this moment, this quiet intimacy they shared, even if it was just as friends. And as she drifted off to sleep, she couldn't help but hope that maybe, just maybe, there was a chance for something more between them in the future.
