Unspoken Words

Words unspoken weigh heavy on my chest,
Silent screams within, a relentless quest.
Pressures mount, dragging me to the ground,
Crushing my spirit without a sound.

I long to voice the thoughts I dare not share,
But fear's icy grip leaves me in despair.
Each unsaid word, a weight upon my soul,
As I drown in silence, losing control.

The weight of expectations, a burden to bear,
Dragging me down with a relentless glare.
Yet still, I hold onto fragments of hope,
In the darkness, finding ways to cope.

For though I may falter, I'll rise again,
Breaking free from the shackles of pain.
Silent no more, I'll find my voice,
Defying the pressures, making my choice.

So I'll speak the words I've long kept at bay,
And face the pressures that once led me astray.
For in the courage to speak, I'll find release,
And in my resilience, I'll find peace.
