The aftermath of round one was really incredible. No one had seen a trainer who could communicate with their pokemon without speaking or moving. Diantha came close, but it is nothing compared to what Ash can do. Not only is he mute, but his pokemon are so strong that he can sweep a water type gym leader with an Infernape!

Many trainers are keeping an eye on him, including the champions. Two of the champions were incredibly upset with this young upstart. One was scared of him, for he is from his region, yet he refused to get him a trainer license. Lance of Kanto needed a way to keep this man on his side, for this guy is incredibly strong. The second champion is jealous. It took her years to master it, and she still called out moves. But stupidly, this trainer from the worst region in her eyes came out of nowhere and made her look like child play. Dinatha hoped he'd be knocked out, before she'd had to get her hands dirty.

Though two champions loved him, and wanted to meet the mute wonder. One is Leon, the champion of Galar, who even though he lost his title in a sweep, still loved to battle. He loved strong opponents, and he knew that this boy is a strong opponent. The second champion is the champion of Sinnoh. She noticed his strength quickly, and was very happy to see such a powerful young man. She enjoyed such good fun, and would actually enjoy such a strong opponent. If there was anything with that starter's blaze ability, then he has many such surprises!

Ash Ketchum knew that after that battle, people would have eyes on him. Tomorrow he'd be facing Brock. It'd be an easy battle, however he decided to use one of his rock type experts. She was a devastating force with her ability, and could take out any foe, especially one weak to her. And if all else fails, an Attract will stop the pokemon in his tracks.

Misty was known as a powerful contender, and made to stay in the tournament till round 20 at the least. Ash was meant to be gone in round one. A couple people were furious at the mute boy for how she treated their friend Misty. One was Gary Oak, her boyfriend. He vowed that when he faced Ash, he'd sweep his team. But some vows are meant to be broken.

Misty herself has gotten over the loss, and wishes to get to know the mute boy more. Unluckily for her, every time she gets close either Gallade or his Goilospod shows up and makes her leave. Gary asked her on a date, but not even he could distract her.

The black haired protagonist was in his room, then he remembered he forgot to heal his fire starter. It's been an entire day and Infernape hasn't been healed. He throws out the pokeball, and the monkey comes out with a loud cry. It looks around, then realizes it's in his masters room.

" Hello my friend. I am sorry that I forgot to heal you." Infernape " No problem boss. I'm ok, her pokemon were weak. That aqua tail didn't do much, so I activated Blaze on my own." " Glad you finally mastered that skill. Next battle I use you, we'll be using it. If their pokemon dies, then it's the trainers fault for training them badly. " Infernape " I agree. "

Ash's hand glows red, then touches his pokemon. The mon glows for a second, then is fully healed. Ash returns him, then walks onto the battlefield. He wishes to go to Oaks lab, so he calls out his fastest flyer, his Pidgeot. The bird has a mega stone on one of his talons. With a mighty caw, it hits the field. Ash gets on top of it, then decides to mega evolve the bird. His keystone, which is red and inside his hand, glows red, along with his birds. The pair sync up, and out comes Mega Pidegot. The bird, with renewed vigor, flies at Mach 5.

Ash arrives in front of his lab, and returns his bird, but not before de mega evolving it. He walks into Oak's lab, but instead of seeing Oak, he sees the man who refused to make him a trainer all that time ago.

Lance, the Champion of Johto and Kanto. Lance " Greetings Mr Ketchum." Ash throws out two pokeballs and his translator appears, along with the dragon buster herself, Alolan Ninetails. Lance winces at seeing the ice-fairy, then turns back to Ash. "My master doesn't want you here. He has sent out the dragon buster just in case you believe you can fight him, flying master.

Lance " First off Ash, I'm a dragon master, and second off, I will not fight you. Even if you have that Ninetails, it could not beat me. " My master will prove you wrong, but not today. He believes you're not worth the time flying master. He asks what do you want, before he sends out his two enforcers. He will not ask a second time." Lance " I'm not a flying master! I am here because I wish to apologize for not giving you your lisence. I believe Oak had to call Cynthia to get it." "My master rejects your apology. He asks where Professor Oak is." "Oak is in Galar currently, watching the world tournament. I knew you'd come here to ask a question" " If he is not here, then neither are we. Good bye, flying master."

Ash returns his translator, but keeps Ninetails out. He walks out of the lab, and throws out his bird. Lance keeps pleading, but Ash ignores the flying master. He climbs his bird, returns the fox, then flies away. All the champion can do is hope Ash  gets knocked out before he becomes a real threat.
