Short: Night Corps First Test

[One week before Spike's birthday]

(Y/N): Now... shall we begin our training.

Echo, Midnight Shadow, & Ironside: Yes!

(Y/N): I would like to begin with each of you fighting me.

Night Corps: What!?

(Y/N): [Chuckles] I want to try to see what I have to deal with.

Midnight Shadow: Don't you think it's unfair for three of us to fight against you?

(Y/N): You're right. It isn't fair.

Midnight Shadow: Thank you.

(Y/N): It isn't fair because even hundreds of you couldn't hit me. [Laughing]

Echo: [Laughing] That's funny!

[Ironside and Midnight Shadow glares at Echo and she decides to stop laughing]

Ironside: [Insulted] Is that a challenge?

Midnight Shadow: Even if you are the Prince. Don't underestimate my skills. I am amazing in the arts of fighting thanks to my father.

Echo: I never fought before, but it seems fun.

(Y/N): [Chuckles] All you have to do is hit me one time and the test is over. If any of you can even hit me once, you all pass. Sounds fair?

[(Y/N) takes them all to a secluded area away from Ponyville to give them all free space to fight him]

[(Y/N) stands still as Midnight Shadow shows perfect form, while Echo lacks any form but in fighting position, while Ironside has an average fighting stance. They remain this way for half a minute until the they heard a drop of water from a distance, prompting Midnight Shadow to attack]

(Y/N): [Impressed]

[Author's note: I have been inspired to use Goku's fight against Ginger and Nikki from the first Dragon Ball Z movie. It is one of the best choreographed fights using mostly martial arts in a Dragon Ball Z movie. Akira Toriyama may have died, but his creation left a legacy for all of us to remember and take inspiration. This fight here is practically MLP style of that fight.]

[Midnight Shadow flies and pulls a punch until (Y/N) blocks it with some struggle. Midnight uses her flight to strike with all of her hooves as (Y/N) dodges the second and third attack, while blocks the last attack]

Ironside: [Roar] [Flies]

[(Y/N) looks at both Midnight Shadow and Ironside as he blocks both of their attacks with his forelegs. Both of them are in front of each other, trapping (Y/N) in the middle]

[Midnight Shadow tries to do a hook punch but (Y/N) dodges by moving his body back while Ironside tries to use a hoof chop to the ground as (Y/N) quickly moves his body to the front, as both Midnight and Ironside tries to use their hind leg to kick (Y/N) in the face, but he dodges by sitting down as he uses his wings to propell him, while Midnight uses her wings to fly and use her hind leg to stomp (Y/N). (Y/N) dodges it by pushing his body back as he land his body and his head to the ground with his hoof as Ironside uses his one of his forelegs to punch (Y/N) from the ground. (Y/N) however pushed his forelegs to make him move his entire body forward to dodge Ironside's attack. Midnight and Ironside decides to punch (Y/N) right in the face, but he dodges by rolling away. Midnight and Ironside tries to kick (Y/N) while he was rolling but uses his legs to jump and his wing to make him flip away from their kicks]
