We never moved the bookshelf back in front of the door when Mike and Kaylen left, so when it comes time for Abby and I to make our great escape from the parts and service room, all we have to do is open the door. Behind us, the animatronics are creaking and screeching, their metal scraping along the walls and the floor as they bring themselves up to stand. I watch as they climb to their feet, staring in amazement at the rust that is scraped off by their sudden movements as it falls to the ground like dark red snow.

They don't have voices, and Cass doesn't talk anymore, but the animatronics all turn to look at the golden bear for a few seconds, and then all their eyes shift to look at Abby and me. She flinches and grabs onto my arm tightly, a bit of fear snaking up into her heard as the old, rusted monsters creak into place. Then they begin to walk, and I open the door and usher her out first with my hands placed firmly on her shoulders.

"Where am I going?" she asks over the loud crashes and scrapes echoing out from the room behind us.

"Go to the game room! Find your brother!" I yell, trying to direct her the way we need to go with a flashlight that really just isn't showing enough right now. She takes the light out of my hands and holds it steady, racing forward until we get to the end of the hallway. When we stop, she pans the light around and I realize how hectic the scene has become.

Mangle is fighting off the toy animatronics, and BB and JJ are taking turns distracting the Puppet. As soon as my eyes land on the Puppet, a splitting headache bites into my skull. The strong sensation of confusion and anger overwhelms me.

Charlie's so confused.

We have to help her.

"Where are they?" Abby asks, terrified. She flicks the light every which way, but in doing so, she catching the eye of the wrong crowd. Toy Bonnie turns to look at us and I immediately grab her hand to try and keep the flashlight still. It's too late though. He knows where we are.

"Abby, get behind me," I say sternly, dragging the little girl behind my back and taking the flashlight from her. Toy Bonnie walks closer to us and I try to back up, but I can hear the other animatronics approaching from behind. Beyond the blue rabbit, Mangle's faceplate head turns to look at us and immediately screeches to try and pry Bonnie's attention away from us. It doesn't work though.

Abby grabs onto me as tight as she can, pressing her face into my back and whispering words I can't hear. I can feel her emotions through, and as the giant rabbit approaches, I begin to realize how horrible her dreams must've been. The fear she's feeling is familiar, but since it isn't familiar to me, it must be to her. That makes it even worse to think about.

"Jeremy!" I call as I sink back into the wall. Abby crouches down and I press my hands against the wall as the rabbit stands between me and the other side of the hallway. He didn't take a direct path, instead opting to somewhat corner me against the wall I'm now pressed to. Abby is almost crying at my feet, and all I can do is look on in horror as Toy Bonnie starts to reach out for me, its arms moving in a nightmarish way as his eyes flicker red.

"Josie!" I hear Mike yelling, and just as I close my eyes, waiting for the pain of claws being ripped into my flesh. But the sensation never comes. Instead, it is replaced by a loud crashing sound. As soon as I open my eyes, I find the two Bonnie animatronics with their hands on each other's shoulders, trying to shove each other out of the way in a slow-motion battle.

"Abby, go," I say sternly, passing her the flashlight and letting her run out from behind me. I look back to my left and, through the darkness, I see the other animatronics pressing forward. Once I'm sure they're all still following, I turn to run into the game room.
