Dear Readers,
I'm sure many of you are still reeling from the events of the final chapter of Turning Point, perhaps even crafting alternate endings in your minds. I'll admit, I found myself in the same predicament. But fear not, for the story doesn't conclude there. There's no need to craft an end just yet when there remains a glimmer of hope, a chance for redemption—or so I hope.
Why this territory?
Consider this a gathering, a celebration of sorts, to commend you for embarking on this journey through the series with me. It's also an invitation to go into another facet of this story.
So...welcome to the world between the pages.
Turning Point concludes with the Epilogue, and Unraveling Point, the final installment in the series, picks up a few weeks later. However, I've included bonus chapters to bridge this gap, offering a fresh perspective. Surprisingly, these chapters are narrated not by Xenia, but by Salvatore himself, beginning from the moment he acquired her from Angelo up until the start of Book III.
These additional chapters are a must-read, despite their departure from the main narrative. They provide a unique insight into the impenetrable antagonist, plunging into his motivations, struggles, and the dark forces propelling him forward. It's important to note that while these are from the antagonist's viewpoint, they do not aim to glorify his actions in any way. Instead, they aim to enrich the plot, expand the setting, and provide context for what awaits in Book III.
It's never too late for a disclaimer. While I cherish each of my characters, I do not condone their actions uniformly. Violence, rape, and bondage are not acceptable unless consensual. Nor do I endorse intentional harmful choices in the name of love, or tolerate controlling behavior. However, fiction allows exploration of the unimaginable, offering a glimpse into a world that could never exist, and it's my guilty pleasure to bring that world to you.
Prepare to be drawn deeper into the dark web of blood and sins as we explore Salvatore's world, where nothing is as it has been heard. So sit back, dear readers, and prepare to be thrown in a world of complete darkness and blood.
