Restless nights, I toss and I turn,Sleep eludes me, my mind does churn."I cannot sleep," I whisper in despair,With each passing hour, I'm ensnared.
"I will not sleep," my resolve unyielding,In the darkness, my fears revealing.Always haunted by the specter of tomorrow,For I have nothing, just sorrow.
Perhaps it's easier when dreams await,But for me, it's a relentless debate. No job, no home, no studies to claim,I am nothing, just a whisper of shame.
I yearned for something, to call my own,To be special, to shine, not alone. But time slipped by, dreams turned to dust,And now I'm left with nothing but rust.
