NAOMI

Ace, Amara, and I boarded one of Aces provate jets.

As we settled into our seats, I felt a sense of excitement and anticipation for the adventures that lay ahead.

Amara was buzzing with excitement, eagerly looking out the window as the plane prepared for takeoff.

Ace reached over, squeezing my hand gently, his eyes filled with warmth and reassurance.

I returned his smile, grateful for this opportunity to create lasting memories together.

As the plane soared into the sky, I couldn't help but feel a surge of optimism for our future.

I led Naomi into the house, her hands held securely in mine as she wore a blindfold. Excitement bubbled inside me, knowing the surprise awaiting her.

"Ready?" I asked, feeling her anticipation through our linked hands.

"Mhm," she hummed, her voice filled with curiosity.

Carefully, I removed the blindfold, revealing the breathtaking view of the ocean that stretched out before us. Naomi's eyes widened in disbelief as she took in the stunning surroundings.

I stood there, stunned by the sight before me. I walked further i to the house to whwre the floor to ceiling sliding doors were openes and when i look closer i knew exactly where we were.

"You did not," I managed to say, my voice filled with astonishment.

"I did," Ace replied with a proud smile.

"Holy shit!" I exclaimed, unable to contain my excitement. I couldn't believe that Ace had planned this dream vacation for us.

Without a second thought, I wrapped my arms around him, my legs instinctively lifting off the ground as I hugged him tightly.

"Thank you," I said, my heart overflowing with gratitude.

"No problem," Ace replied with a grin, his eyes twinkling with satisfaction.

I leaned in and kissed him, feeling a rush of happiness and love wash over me.

"Mom, did you see this place?" Amara asked, her eyes wide with wonder as she took in the stunning view.

I turned to look at Amara, my heart swelling with joy at her excitement. "Isn't it incredible?" I replied, unable to contain my own amazement.

Amara nodded enthusiastically, her smile lighting up her face. "It's like a dream!"

"It really is," I agreed, feeling immensely grateful for this opportunity to share such a beautiful experience with my daughter and Ace.

Ace received a call and excused himself, stepping away to answer it. I watched as he walked a short distance down the beach, his expression focused as he spoke on the phone.

Curious but not wanting to intrude, I turned my attention back to Amara, who was busy exploring the area with wide-eyed fascination.

The sound of waves lapping against the shore created a soothing backdrop to our surroundings.

After a few minutes, Ace returned with a thoughtful look on his face. "Everything okay?" I asked, concerned.

"Yeah, just some business matters," he replied, giving me a reassuring smile.

I nodded, understanding the demands that sometimes came with his line of work. Despite the interruption, I was determined to make the most of our time together in this beautiful place.

"Can we go for a walk along the beach," Amara suggested.

"Yeah, i dont see why not." I said, wanting to soak in every moment of our vacation.

Hand in hand, the three of us set off along the sandy shoreline.

As we strolled along the beach, Amara's playful spirit came alive. She splashed water towards Ace, giggling mischievously as he pretended to be caught off guard. With a grin, Ace chased after her, their laughter echoing along the shoreline.

I watched, a smile spreading across my face at the sight of them enjoying themselves. The sun cast a golden glow over the scene, highlighting the joy in Amara's eyes as she darted away from Ace, her bare feet leaving small footprints in the sand.

Ace's laughter mingled with Amara's as he playfully pretended to be outmaneuvered by her swift movements. It was a moment of pure happiness and carefree abandon, a reminder of the simple joys that life had to offer.

As they continued their playful chase, I felt a deep sense of gratitude for this precious time together. The worries and stresses of everyday life melted away, replaced by the warmth of the sun and the sound of waves crashing gently against the shore.

As I watched Ace and Amara exchange a few words, a sense of suspicion crept over me. It seemed like they were plotting something, and I couldn't help but wonder what mischief they had in store.

Sure enough, Ace scooped me up over his shoulder, his eyes dancing with mischief as he carried me towards the pool. I laughed, knowing what was coming next as we approached the water's edge.

Before I could protest, I found myself flying through the air, landing in the pool with a splash. As I surfaced, sputtering and laughing, Amara cheered from the side, applauding her father's playful antics.

"Nice one, Dad!" Amara exclaimed, her laughter contagious as she watched us.

Shooting Ace a playful glare, I couldn't help but join in the laughter. "You're in for it now," I teased, swimming towards him with a mischievous grin.

Ace chuckled, smoothly pulling himself out of the pool as I chased him around the edge. "Amara, help a girl out and push your dad into the pool," I called out, enlisting Amara's help in our playful pursuit.

But our plan failed miserably, and before I knew it, Ace had scooped me up into his arms once again, tossing me back into the water. As I surfaced, laughing and gasping for breath, Amara seized the opportunity to push Ace into the pool, joining in the laughter that erupted from both of us.

Ace grinned mischievously, glancing over at Amara with a playful glint in his eye.

"Oh, you betrayer! You're gonna come in here as well," Ace called out, playfully chasing after Amara. With a gleeful shriek, Amara was soon caught and tossed into the pool alongside me, joining in the laughter.

I threw her head back, laughter echoing across the water as Ace joined them in the pool.
