Novas pov

I woke up with a banging headache, i looked around at my surroundings and i did not know where i was this was not my place and then it was all coming back to me that all three of the guardians had caught me last night which im still not sure how they did but for now i had to figure out where i was and how to get back to mine because i still wanted to go in to say goodbye to Mrs Campbell and Mr Bedford

I sat up and lent up against the head board bringing my knees up to my chest and placing my head into them trying to get rid of the brightness of the sun that was peering through the window, then i heard the door open and i already knew it was one of the three of them so i stayed in the same position i was in not even moving an inch

I felt the bed dip beside me on either side of me which i immediately knew that they were all in here and i did not want all the questioning about it all, it will be the same bullshit of them telling me i am too young and cant be doing stuff like this

Then i felt someone grab my head and lift it up and i was met with the worried and angry expressions

"What on earth was you thinking Nova, you are 14 years old and you are roaming the streets in the middle of the night drunk" Lizzie said and i groaned knowing that this would not help my headache one bit

"I know what you all are going to say, yes i fucked up is that what you want me to say?" i say putting my head back into my knees but i should have known someone was going to lift it back up and they did and i definitely was not surprised when it was Scarlett who was doing it

"First of all missy i told you about the swearing before and i have warned you before about your behaviour so i am taking your phone today and there isnt going to be any discussions about that and you are not going to school in this state especially when we dont know what you are doing there" Scarlett said in a stern voice that normally would have made me scared but i was too tired for this so i had the complete opposite reaction

"I am going to school because i need to say goodbye to Mrs Campbell and Mr Bedford before i leave as i am not going to school tomorrow as i need to do last minute shopping and packing for LA and as far as im concerned you three are my guardians and you have responsibility over me but i dont need you to look after me i have been doing it on my own for most of my life so i dont give a shit what you say" I say getting out of the bed and putting my shoes and my coat on

"NOVELLA GET YOUR ASS HERE RIGHT NOW" Scarlett yelled as i was putting my coat on

"WHY SHOULD I IF ALL YOU ARE GOING TO DO IS FUCKING TELLING ME THE SAME BULLSHIT LIKE YOU DO EVERYTIME I DO SOMETHING WRONG" i screamed back to her and i didnt mean to yell back at her i know they are all trying to help me and i want them to help me even though i can look after myself sometimes i wish i didnt have to be looking after myself and i could acually be a child

"Look Nova im sorry but we were all just so scared last night when we saw your location last night and it was in the middle of the night we didnt want anything happening to you but we want you to know you dont have to do it all alone now we are here no matter how hard you try and push us away" Lizzie said in a soft voice trying to calm the situation down

"Im sorry as well Nova it just scared me last night, im not angry i just want to know you are safe but im not letting you drink anymore or smoke, dont think we didnt realise that you smelt of smoke last night as well" Scarlett told her i could see she meant her apology and Chris gave me a small smile from where he was sitting looking back and forth between Scarlett and Lizzie and me, they gave him a look which made him confused, but they were hinting at Chris apologisng

"Why am i apologising, i was just sitting here i didnt say anything" Chris said which made me start laughing which made Chris start as well and that earnt us glares from both girls which were looking scary

"Im sorry for swearing and acting like an idiot i promise i will try and let you in more and let you help me, but i have to go now because i have to get ready for school to say my goodbyes" I told them and Scarlett came over to where i was standing and reached to the bookshelf behind me and grabbed her keys

"Come on ill take you back to yours and then ill take you to school, and im pretty sure you will not be staying there long so ill wait outside and then we can hang out and watch movies here" she said with her stern look which basically meant i am not taking no for an answer

"Fine, ill guess ill see you too later then" i said but before i got to the door Lizzie ran up to me and gave me a massive hug and Chris came over and ruffled my hair and whispered "See you later trouble" which made me grin but i had to quickly stop because Scarlett raised her eyebrow at me

We made it down the lobby of the hotel and i was getting weird looks because i was in pyjamas but i didnt care, she drove me back to mine and it only took 20 minutes and i got out of the car expecting Scarlett to stay in the car whilst i get ready but she steppe out with me

"Did you really think i am going to stay in the car, you are going to take forever so i am going to go and lay in your bed" she said with a smile and i just rolled my eyes and went into my pocket to get my keys and i felt i still had the vape in my pocket so they hadnt taken that, but i got my keys and took Scarlett to the room before getting my stuff for a shower and going to the shared bathroom, i took a fairly quick shower and i was done in 30 minutes then i made my way into my room and i could see it looked neater, Scarlett was sorting out the pile of school homework on the floor when i walked in and she looked up and smiled being proud of herself for cleaning my room

"I see you have cleaned my room" i say whilst sitting down and starting to do my makeup and drying my hair but i couldnt do both at once so i decided to do my makeup first

"Yeah it was a mess in here Nova, if you want i can dry your hair whilst you do your makeup so you are done quicker but if you dont want me to then i wont" Scarlett asks me whilst i am looking in the mirror and when i nodded yes i saw the grin on her face from the mirror

time skip

I made my way out of the school in tears ruining my makeup, when i had to tell them goodbye i sobbed they were my family the ones who were looking after me in school what was i meant to do without them

I got into the car and Scarlett immediately took me into her embrace hugging me tightly letting me cry into her chest, after a while i calmed down and we got back to the hotel where all three of them were staying and we met in Lizzies room and we all sat down on the best and i cuddled up to Lizzie falling asleep until they woke me up for dinner

Scarlett dropped me back home, she was going to make me stay at the hotel with them incase i decided to do what i did last night but i told them i only used to do it every few months and i only really did it because of me leaving and i wanted to have some time with Alexa, Scarlett told me that she and Lizzie were coming shopping with me tomorrow as well but they didnt realise that i needed to get a load of stuff including a suitcase because i have never owned one

As soon as i get in my bed i fall asleep knowing i dont need to set an alarm because Scarlett had made her give the house keys to her so that she could just come in and wake me up in the morning
