Chapter 45

SALVATORE SCHOOL-HALL-NIGHT
[Bell rings. Alaric, Audrey, Hope and Dorian meet in corridor.]
Hope: Sounds like the trap worked.
"What is next?" Asked curious Davina.
"Maybe aliens. We haven't had an alien." Said Marcel.
SALVATORE SCHOOL-WOODS-NIGHT
[Hope, Audrey, Alaric and Dorian are on their way to trap.]
Hope: I know this is important, but you couldn't have put pants on first?
"He is without pants?!" Yelled Klaus furiously.
"Dad, stop screaming in my ear." Said Audrey, masaging his ear.
Alaric: Little early for snark, Hope.
Dorian: Any guesses on what famous monster from filmland we get to slay today?
Audrey: (glares) Creature.
"Is it really that hard to say creature?" Said annoyed Freya.
"Exactly." Said Audrey and pointed at Freya.
Alaric: (Scoffs) With our luck, it'll be Cthulhu.
"I would hope not." Said Caroline.
Dorian: False alarm. [They see horse.]
Alaric: It's just a horse. Must've gotten out of the stables and wandered across the barrier spell.
Audrey: Blaze?
"Remember Hope mentioning dad getting me a pony?" Asked Audrey. People nod.
"I named her Blaze. It means flame in latin. I had her in Salvatore school's stables and she is also white. That's why i thought she was Blaze." Explained Audrey.
"But she wasn't?" Asked Hayley.
"Nope." Answered Audrey.
[Horse turns around and it turns out it's not Blaze, it is an unicorn.]
Audrey: Is this an actual unicorn?!
"Wait? An Unicorn? Unicorn?!" Said excited Caroline.
"Malivore sent it. So i don't think you should be so excited about it." Said Stefan.
"It's an unicorn. What is it gonna do?" Defended Caroline.
[Alaric and Dorian aims at it. Hope stand in front of them.]
Hope: (Gasps) Hey, wait, wait. Hold your fire.
Alaric: It's a monster, Hope.
Audrey: Creature, but he's right. It's here to take the artifact.
Hope: You're not seriously suggesting we kill an unicorn?
"You can't seriously kill an unicorn!" Protested Davina.
"It could be dangerous." Said Elijah.
Dorian: I'm suggesting we don't give it a pass because it's cute.
Hope: Can't we just... leave it alone? It's trapped, it's not going anywhere. It's harmless.
Audrey: Maybe that's good idea. [Everyone looks at Audrey surprised.]
Audrey: There are many stories that tell that killing unicorn caused whole city to get cursed. I don't know about you, but i don't want to get cursed.
"She has got a point. It's not worth risking." Said Kol.
Alaric: They are right. Plus as long as we keep it alive, other creatures won't be coming for the urn. So we just stay alert and let it be. [Slug is crawling and it squeals.]
"Why is it concentrated on slug?" Asked Elijah suspiciously.
Dorian: All right, well, I'll be on alert back in bed. [Dorian leaves.]
SALVATORE SCHOOL-HOPE AND AUDREY'S DORM-DAY
[Hope is sleeping. Slug gets into Hope's nose. Same thing happens with Audrey.]
"Eww." Said disgusted Hope and Audrey.
"Oh my god!" Said Hayley horrified.
"It looks like the one that was with unicorn." Said Klaus.
[They both wake up smiling.]
SALVATORE SCHOOL-DAY
[Hope sits next to Landon, Rafael and Lela.]
Hope: Morning, handsomes and beauty.
"Huh?" Said Marcel.
Rafael&Landon: Hey! [Lela looks at Hope weirdly. Hope eats muffin.]
Hope: Mmm. Sweet, sweet carbs.
Lela: Are you okay?
Hope: Why i shouldn't be?
Rafael: Somebody's in a really good mood.
Hope: Hmm. Just woke up on the right side of the bed, I guess.
"Did that slug do it?" Asked Elijah.
"Yes." Said Hope, guessing there was no point in hiding.
"So what does it do?" Asked Hayley.
"Basically makes you extremly happy and honest." Said Audrey.
Landon: For the first time ever?
Hope: (giggles) You're so funny. I love that about you.
Klaus scrowls.
[Lizzie and Josie enter the hall.]
Lizzie: Remember what Mom said. We are airy clouds floating high above a turbulent sea of drama.
Josie: Two clouds who are not triggered by seeing ex-boyfriends. [Josie is looking at Rafael.]
Lizzie: Who also do not make out with ex-girlfriends. [Lizzie looks at Josie. Audrey comes behind them.]
Audrey: (smiling) Hello, girls.
Josie: Hey
Audrey: Josie, i really like your hair. Want a chocolate? [Audrey offers Lizzie and Josie candies.]
"This is the weirdest thing i have seen in my life and it's coming from ME." Said Hope.
Lizzie: Have you hit your head at something, Mikaelson? [Audrey laughs.]
Audrey: You are funny. You know, if you didn't treat my sister bad in past and now, we would be friends.
"Forget it. This is the weirdiest thing i have seen." Said Hope.
"Oh shut it!" Said Audrey and pushed Hope. Hope chuckled.
[Josie and Lizzie look at her weirded out. Audrey walks up to Hope, Landon, Rafael and Lela. Confused Saltzman twins follow.]
"They look so confused." Said amused Caroline.
"Wouldn't you?" Said Stefan.
Audrey: (smiling) Hello, everyone.
Hope: (smiling) Hi!
Audrey: (giggling) You have seen me today, silly. [Hope giggles, too. Audrey sits next to Hope.]
"I'm disgusted by myself." Said Audrey.
Lela: Okay. What is wrong with you two?
Audrey: Why does everyone keep asking that?
Hope: Yeah. Can't we just be happy? Marcel said same.
Marcel smiles at being mentioned.
Audrey: You called Marcel?
Hope: Yeah. [Lizzie gives strange look at Mikaelson twins and turns to Rafael.]
Lizzie: Good morning, Rafael.
Rafael: Hi. Uh, how was your-your trip?
Lizzie: Excellent. Thank you.
Josie: Good morning to you, too, Lela and welcome back, Landon.
Landon: Didn't you vote me out?
Lizzie: That's all in the past. Now, is everyone as excited as I am about tonight?
"What's happening tonight?" Asked Caroline. Hope pointed at screen.
Landon: What's happening tonight?
Audrey: The school's annual talent show. All the factions compete.
Hope: (To Lizzie and Josie) You know, the witch performance wouldn't be the same without you two.
Lizzie: Thank you. [Alaric speaks from speakers, so whole school can hear.]
Alaric: If I could have your attention. Last night we were able to capture a monster here on the grounds. We have everything under control. But given this potential danger, it is with a heavy heart that I must postpone the talent show. [Students groan.]
"But it's an unicorn! You can't pospone talent show because of unicorn!" Protested Caroline.
Alaric: Hopefully, we'll be able to reschedule this... unique event... at a later date. A much, much later date.
Hope: Kind of overkill if you ask me. I told your dad that a unicorn barely counts as a monster.
"We shouldn't be calling any creatures monster. That's disrespectful and rasist." Said Audrey.
SALVATORE SCHOOL-ALARIC'S OFFICE-DAY
Lizzie: Dearest father. Does this dangerous monster happen to be a magical pony?
Alaric: Maybe.
Lizzie: Of all of the manipulative ploys to... With all due respect, I think that this is a matter for the honor council.
"You tell him!" Encouraged Caroline.
Alaric: Well, then bring it up at next month's meeting.
Josie: Was actually thinking of calling an emergency session. And I think I know how we're gonna vote.
SALVATORE SCHOOL-DAY
[Lizize is speaking over in speakers.]
Lizzie: Good news, friends. The talent show is going on as previously scheduled. [Landon and Rafael are walking in hall.]
Landon: So, Lizzie's acting weird.
"She isn't acting that weird, is she?" Asked Caroline.
Rafael: She's not the only one. [Landon follows Rafael's gaze and sees Audrey and Hope. Audrey is holding poster out to Hope.]
Audrey: We should do a talent. I will write the song and we can sing together. We'll have our own team. Tribrid team!
"It'll be interesting." Said Kol.
Hope: Great idea. [Hope notices Landon.]
Hope: Hey, babe.
Landon: Hey. [Hope kisses Landon.]
[Later, Hope is drinking strawberry milkshake. She and other girls are sitting on stairs and laughing.]
Hope: This is so much fun. I don't know why we don't do this more often. [They all laugh.]
"You being social is so... strange." Said Audrey.
"Nit as much as you being nice." Said Hope.
"I'm nice. To the ones who deserve." Protested Audrey.
Josie: (to Hope) Hey, do you know where they moved the stupid canes for the talent show? Lizzie was asking me to find them.
Hope: You seem very anti-cane.
Josie: No. Uh, just anti-doing the same exact thing every year. But it's fine. I'll keep an eye out. But, um... [Hope notices Penelope.]
Hope: I think someone has an eye out for you. [Josie sees her, too and moves behind Hope.]
Josie: Oh, dear God, hide me.
Hope: Hi. [Penelope moves past Hope and gives Josie a letter.]
Penelope: Just make sure you read it in private. [Josie takes it.]
Josie: I'm not gonna read it at all.
"She looks tired." Said Audrey.
[Penelope turns around and makes a hand gesturse, which has her friends following her.]
Hope: Okay, what do you think it says? "Check this box if you want to kiss me, check this box if you want to kill me"?
Josie: I don't know and I do not want to find out.
Hope: If you need me to help you smite the she-devil, I got you, girl.
Josie: Okay. Did Emma just slip you happy pills or something while we were gone?
Hope: No, just having a good day.
"Are we really that depressed? Why is everyone so shocked?" Said Hope.
Josie: That makes one of us.
Hope: I got to get to class but your day is gonna get so much better, Jo. [Hope hugs Josie.]
Hope: I just know it. [When Hope seperates from hug, we see slug enters Josie's ear. Josie starts to smile.]
"Josie!" Said Salvatores worried.
SALVATORE SCHOOL-GYM-DAY
[Audrey goes into Gym.]
Audrey: (smiling) Hello, Everyone. Today we won't have training. You can all get ready for talent show if you want, but this year i won't be participitating with wolf fraction. Sorry. This year i'll be going with Hope as Tribrid. Don't take it offensivly. I just want to do it with my sister. I love you all. [Pack looks at Audrey confused.]

Boy: What's happening with her?
Girl: Why is she smiling so much?

lex: It's scary. [Everyone walks out except Jed.]
Audrey scrowls at them.
[Jed walks up to Audrey.]
Jed: What are you so happy? Did something happen?
Audrey: Just having a good day. Jed, You are the best best friend ever, you know?
Jed: (confused) Why are you talking like that?
Audrey: Because I love you. You are just as much of my sibling as Hope. Always and Forever. [Audrey hugs Jed.]
"You are saying truth. You can't lie because of slugs." Said Marcel.
"Yep. Blood isn't everything. You should know that." Said Audrey.
Jed: (choked up) You are saying your family vow to me?
Audrey: Of course. We are family, aren't we?
Jed: We-- we are.
"Aww. Your friendship is so cute." Said Hayley.
Audrey: You are forgeting vow.
Jed: A-A-Always and Forever.
Audrey: (smiles) Always and Forever.
Mikaelsons smile.
[They pull apart. Slug crawls up in Jed's ear.]
