3rd Person POV

Sidon came in to check on Link one morning earlier than he normally did. The sun hadn't even come up yet, but he wanted to do something with Link to make him feel better. He knew Link didn't like staying in one place for a long time.

"Link.." he knelt down next to the bed Link was sleeping in. "Link.. wake up, Link." Link groaned, and his eyes slowly began to open. He rubbed the sleep from his eyes and smiled at Sidon.

"Hey, Sidon," he groaned out. His voice had started to return to normal and was much less raspy than before. In the few weeks he'd stayed in Zora's Domain, it had regained its higher pitch and quietness, but it was even more quiet because he was tired. "What's up?" He asked.

"Okay," Sidon began. "I know it's early, but I want to show you something. You like sunrises, don't you?" Link nodded excitedly. "I can take you to go see one." Link gasped happily and sat up quickly, but his expression quickly faded.

"But I can't walk still.." he frowned.

"I can carry you!" Sidon's face beamed with excitement. Link smiled and threw his legs over the edge of the bed, grabbing his bag and putting on his Champion's Tunic and Hylian Trousers, being careful not to make his belt too tight so he didn't hurt himself.

"Alright, let's go," he said. Sidon scooped Link up in his arms. Link wrapped his arms around Sidon's neck to keep himself from falling, and Sidon walked him out of the Inn and across the Great Zora Bridge, and they sat themselves down at the end of the bridge Link sat down in Sidon's lap with Sidon's arms wrapped around his torso.

The sun rose slowly above the Domain, making it shimmer and glow in the beautiful sunlight. Link's eyes lit up with joy, and he smiled so wide, his cheeks began to hurt. They stayed there for around 15 minutes. Link sighed contentedly and leaned back against Sidon's body, closing his eyes and resting himself in Sidon's presence.

"Hey, Link?" Sidon chirped. Link hummed, keeping his eyes closed. "I talked to the medic before I woke you up. They said you can walk for short periods of time, but only if you have support or something to lean on." Link opened his eyes and looked up at Sidon.

"Really!?" He beamed. "That's amazing!" Sidon smiled down at him. "So I can walk back to the Domain then?" Sidon nodded. Without thinking, Link wrapped his arms around Sidon's neck in a hug and squeezed him tightly. Sidon hesitated but hugged him back.

"Do you want to go back to the Domain?" Sidon asked after a few minutes of hugging. Link nodded and broke free from the mesmerizing feeling of Sidon's arms around him. He moved off of Sidon's lap, sitting on the grass. Sidon stood up and grabbed Link's hand, pulling him upwards slowly so he stood. Link wrapped his arms around Sidon's torso, using him as a crutch, both of them walking together slowly. Sidon helped him walk back to the Domain that way.

Link spent the rest of the day sitting by himself in the shell-shaped bed in the Inn, contemplating something. He hadn't been able to walk for almost a month, and being able to again felt empowering, almost. He felt like he was stronger now than he ever had been before. He wanted to defeat that stupid Lynel up on the mountain still. He'd done it before, and now he knew what he had to do in order to kill it. He wasn't prepared to fight it the first time he went up there. He considered himself ready now.

He quickly began packing his things in his bag; a silver longsword he found behind the Shrine under the Domain, a torch he happened to have, another Lizal Boomerang, and the Woodcutters Axe he had before. He also had around 60 Arrows, 15 Shock Arrows, 3 ice Arrows, and a single Bomb Arrow.

He gathered his Champion's Tunic, Hylian Trousers and hood in his bag, quickly changed his bandages, and made two Electro Elixirs before putting on his Zora Armor and preparing to leave for the Mountain.

He stood at the northernmost side of the Domain, prepared to jump in the water when a soft voice behind him spoke up.

"Link??" The voice asked. Link turned around and frowned at the tall, vibrant red Zora behind him.

"Hi, Sidon," Link groaned out, annoyed at his sudden presence. Sidon picked him off the ledge and set him down on the ground.

"Link, what are you doing?" He asked. Link crossed his arms and sighed.

"I was going to fight the Lynel again," he mumbled under his breath, hoping Sidon wouldn't hear him.

"Link, my friend.." Sidon sighed. "You cannot go and fight that beast again yet! You still have not healed completely!" He began to pick Link up again, but he squirmed and slipped out of Sidon's arms, landing on his feet without trying, somehow.

"I want to try again, though," Link spoke louder. "I really, really want to defeat it! I know I can, Sidon; just let me go do it!" His voice had raised louder to the point that he was almost yelling. Sidon paused, shocked at the way the Hylian had spoken. He'd never seen or heard Link that angry before.

Link.." he droned his word out, exhausted. He stood up taller again and looked down at Link. "Link, I forbid you from leaving the Domain until all of your injuries are completely healed!"
