3rd Person POV-

Sidon opened his eyes and squinted in the light that shone into the Domain. He rubbed the sleep from his eyes and pushed himself out of the pool he was asleep in. All of the Zora slept in large pools of water under the Domain; the Inn was for visitors or travelers who were passing by to sleep in, as well as a medical bay for anyone.

Sidon smiled. He wanted to go and see Link again. Every day, he got more and more excited to see the little Hylian. He rushed over to the Inn, only for his smile to quickly fade away.

Link wasn't there.

Sidon began to panic. Where did he go? Why? Is he okay? Has anyone seen him?

"Sidon?" Marot, the owner of the general store nearby, asked from behind him. He turned to her and exhaled sharply. "Are you alright? What's going on?" Sidon took a deep breath to calm himself down enough to speak.

"Link is gone. I don't know where he is. He was here last night, at the Inn, and now I don't know where he is and I'm scared because he might not be safe and I'm panicking!" Marot hugged him tightly and squeezed him.

"Do you have any idea where he might be?" She asked him. Sidon pulled away from the hug and gasped at his own sudden thought.

"Oh, no," he said out loud, not to anyone in particular. He ran past her, grabbing his spear and jumping into the water on the northern side of the Domain. He swore at himself under his breath as he ascended the large waterfalls on the way to Ploymus Mountain.

He ran up the mountain to Shatterback Point, hoping he would find Link there. He knelt down in the grass as he neared the top. He saw Link bent down behind a large rock close to the path up the mountain.

"Link," he whispered to him, making his way closer to the Hylian. Link instinctively turned around, aiming his bow at Sidon's neck. He gasped at the sight of the Zora and lowered his bow.

"Sidon!?" He whispered so he wouldn't catch the attention of the nearby Lynel. "What are you doing here!?" Sidon scoffed at him.

"I could ask you the same thing," Sidon responded. "You shouldn't be up here. You shouldn't even be out of Zora's Domain!"

"I'm killing this Lynel," Link said. "I don't care, I feel bad knowing that I couldn't kill it before, and it's still terrorizing the tourists and visitors who come here." Sidon grabbed his hand.

"You're coming with me back to the Domain," he ordered. "Listen to me; doing this could get you hurt or killed. That can't happen." Link pulled his arm out of Sidon's hand and grabbed his bow, sneaking out from behind the rock with the Lynel in his sight.

"Sidon," Link began, "you need to stay right here. If that Lynel hits you with a Shock Arrow, you're dead. I can survive this." Sidon furrowed his eyebrows at him.

"You'll get hurt, too!" He said. Link smugly held up an empty glass bottle with fabric tied around the top with yellow string as a lid. Sidon recognized the Electro Elixir bottle instantly.

"Look at me, Sidon," he instructed him. "I know what I'm doing. It might not look like it sometimes, but I'm fine. And I have a job for you. Keep an eye on me while I'm out there, but make sure the Lynel does not see you, no matter what. Don't worry about me unless I'm on the ground and don't move for a few minutes or I get severely wounded and start bleeding out a lot. If that happens, wait until the Lynel leaves, then come and get be and bring me back to the Domain or somewhere else that's safe and out of this area. Got it?"

Sidon nodded, and Link shot at the Lynel with a bomb arrow. The beast roared and reared back on it's hind legs. Link jumped out from behind the rock to confront the giant creature once again. The Lynel swung it's sword at Link, who jumped out of the way just in time and unleashed a flurry of attacks on it with his Tri-Boomarang in a second. The Lynel frose for a moment, and Link took the opportunity to jump on it's back and began attacking it with his Silver Longsword. The blade barely did anything to the monster.

The Lynel reared back again, falling onto it's back and crushing Link's body beneath it. He let out a soft scream and laid on the ground, motionless. Sidon began to panic again. The Lynel got up again, sniffed Link's body, and turned around to leave. Sidon watched for a moment longer.

The seconds felt like hours, but Link began to move again after a minute or so. He sat up, winded and gasping quietly. Thankfully the Lynel didn't hear him. He glanced over at Sidon and gave him a quick thumbs-up to reassure the prince that his friend was alright. He stood, shaking, and shot at the Lynel again, with an ice arrow this time.

It ran back to Link again, on all six limbs. Link knew where this was going. He jumped to the side, just barely missing the beasts horns, which nearly ended him before. Some part of the Lynel's body caught onto Link's clothing, which flung him in the air when it flung it's head backwards.

Link began to panic again. He knew how this ended.
