"It's what!?" Sidon yelled. He held Zelda tightly in his arms and stood next to Link. They watched in horror as they saw a re, shadowy figure rise above the rocks toward the village. Link's body shook and he held the Master Sword outwards, parallel to his body like he would when he was holding a sheild.

The Calamity paused, staring at them. Heat emited from it's body, making Link sweat and Sidon lightheaded. It roared loudly before turning around and leaving. Link's arm's shook, and he dropped the Master Sword in the sand below him, falling onto his knees and panting. Sidon put his hand on Link's shoulder.

"Link?" He asked. "You okay?" Link nodded, gasping softly. He grabbed the Master Sword and stood, still shaking. He paused to take a breath and sighed.

"We should get her to a medic," he said breathlessly, gesturing to the wounded Zelda in Sidon's arms.

"You need a medic too, Link," he said. "Look at how much blood is on your hood." Link shook his head.

"I'm fine," he insisted. "She needs more help than I do." Sidon nodded hesitantly and they walked together to the medic's hut. The medics took Zelda, and Link and Sidon sat outside. Link bandaged his own small injuries as they sat together in the sand.

"How is Ganon even alive still?" Sidon asked. "You and Zelda killed him, didn't you?" Link nodded.

"I'm pretty sure," he said. "Ask Zelda; she delivered the final blow, while I was barely alive." He paused before speaking again. "Unless this isn't really the Calamity."

"What do you mean, not really the Calamity?" Sidon asked.

"Maybe something made another one," Link clarified. "Like the malice. Or maybe it's another reincarnation or something." He leaned against the hut and sighed softly, closing his eyes. "I don't want to have to fight it again. I barely made it out last time." Sidon scooted closer to Link and hugged him.

"You don't have to," he said. "We will figure out some other way to get rid of it." Link smiled and hugged Sidon's arm.

"King Sidon!" Rivan called out to him, rushing onto land. Sidon flinched when he heard his title. King Sidon. It felt wrong to be called that.

He cleared his throat and Link awkwardly pulled away from their hug.

"Yes?" He replied to the Rivan.

"Me and the other Zora were wondering about the incident this morning, your majesty." Sidon sighed.

"What about it?" Link asked.

"We were wondering what exactly happened." Link hummed softly.

"I don't know exactly what happened," Sidon said. "However, me and the Hylian Champion have been speaking about it, and it's possible that it was caused by a clone or recreation of Calamity Ganon." The Zora's eyes widened slightly with shock.

"I see..." he said. "So the Calamity has returned?"

"I don't think so," Link chimed in. "I killed the Calamity, so it shouldn't be coming back. But I think it's just a copy or a recreation." Rivan nodded softly.

"Ah," he said. "Thank you, Link." He turned to face Sidon. "Sir, I have one more thing to ask of you." Sidon nodded firmly. "Bazz and Torfeau have asked permission to return to the Zora's Domain and see if it is safe for us to return." Sidon thought for a moment before responding.

"That is a good idea," Sidon said. "But I don't want Bazz going; he's needed here. Send Dunma in his place. She's a much faster swimmer." Rivan paused.

"My daughter, sir?" He asked.

"Yes.." Sidon responded hesitantly. "Unless you have something against that."

"No, no," Rivan said. "Of course I have nothing against it; I only worry for her safety. I shall tell her and Torfeau that they can head to the Domain now. Thank you, King Sidon." Sidon flinched again. He still wasn't a fan of that title.

"Sidon?" Link asked after Rivan left. "You okay?" Sidon nodded.

"Yeah," he said. "I just don't feel like I should be called 'King Sidon.' It feels wrong. I'm not fit to be a king right now."

"Why not?"

"I'm very stressed. I'm not used to being away from home. I want to return to the Domain so badly. And I want my father to be alive." Link frowned and leaned his head against Sidon's shoulder.

"I'm sorry," he said. "I'm stressed, too." Sidon rubbed the back of his head and groaned.

"I'm gonna go check on Zelda," he said, standing. "I'll be right back." He stepped inside the hut, and Link sat alone in the sand.

Sidon returned moments later.

"Link?" He whispered. Link looked up at him. His hands were trembling. "Link, you need to come in here."

Link stood and walked up the stairs into the hut Zelda was healing in. She was unconscious in a bed with bandages wrapped tightly around her chest and her face was pale. There was a medic kneeling down next to her bed. Link sat next to her.

"Hello, Link," the medic spoke quietly. "I have.. some dire news." Link glanced down at Zelda, then back at the medic.

"..okay?" His voice shook.

"The princess, she.." the medic took a deep breath. "She's not going to make it for very long. Her heart was damaged severely, and it cannot be healed." Link frowned and looked down at his dying friend.

"Oh." He spoke quietly. "How long does she have, do you think?" The medic shrugged.

"If she's lucky, she'll live to see the sunrise," she replied. "But that's not likely. I will monitor her throughout the night and try to keep her alive until then, but she is in a lot of pain." Link wiped the tears from his eyes and exhaled sharply.

"I see."
