A couple more hours had passed until Paul was finally somewhat back to normal. He was still drowsy, but was restored to his full personality.
"So, I was kidnapped? Isn't that what you said?" Paul inquired, rubbing his eyes as he sat up.
"You were, but nothing like that is ever going to happen again," John responded in a voice that nearly made sure that it was the absolute and exact truth.
"That makes more sense. I don't even know what I was just experiencing. It was almost like I was just floating somewhere in the depths of space," Paul gave a slight laugh at his simile.
"You didn't look too good at all, though. Really, you seemed lifeless," John spoke seriously.
"I do still feel a bit numb and euphoric," Paul noted.
"It'll pass. It's what everything so far has done. That's all it can really do."
