//CHAPTER 13.1
Orange
The heartache lingers, time stands still,
As the truth of the tragedy slowly spills.
Tears fall like rain, a river of sorrow,
Lost in the darkness of an uncertain tomorrow.

Orange wasn't quite sure where he was...
He felt like he was floating. Maybe he was sinking. He couldn't quite figure it out.
When he opened his eyes, he was greeted with only darkness. Perhaps he was dead. Was this what death felt like?
He tried to turn around, but he felt stuck. As if his limbs simply wouldn't move. In fact, he couldn't even feel his limbs at all.
That was weird.
He stayed silent, simply waiting for...for something.
Until he remembered. The last thing he remembered was being shocked by his stupid collar. He must have passed out or something.
Then, suddenly, as if he was being pulled from an icy lake, he felt himself being dragged back into reality.
Suddenly, he could see. His limbs could move, and he remembered everything. As he took in his surroundings, he realized that he was standing in a dimly lit place.
He was still in Odd World. He was in that one ride, the rollercoaster. He was standing in a dark cave. Orange couldn't quite figure it out, but he must have been somewhere along the ride.
Orange glanced down and realized that he was actually standing on the tracks.
That was weird, out of all the places for him to randomly wake up at, why was it in the middle of the roller coaster tracks?
Orange thought to himself for a moment, considering the events that had led up to this situation.
He had been shocked by his collar, and then seemingly fell unconscious. When he finally woke up, he was standing on the tracks.
Orange then realized something, and reached up to feel his collar with a sinking feeling in his chest.
Did...did he transform into his Predator Form?
Was that why he woke up in a different place? Orange didn't want to admit it, but it felt like the most likely option.
Orange looked to his side, fearfully wondering what his other self may have done while he was free.
He was greeted by the horrifying sight of a minecart of some sort, overturned onto its side. It looked like it had fallen off of the tracks.
The entire thing looked messed up. It was missing multiple of its wheels, and there was a cloud of dust swirling around it, concealing the other side from sight.
Orange's heart dropped at the sight.
Did he...cause this?
He must have knocked it off the track while he was in his Predator Form. Orange slowly shook his head in disbelief as he slowly crawled closer.
As he reached out to touch it with his claws, he prayed and prayed that the cart would be empty. Please don't let him be responsible for another death...
