"Okay lets play a game." Beckett says to me as he sits against the same log he always does whenever we come up here on sundays as I snap pictures of a butterfly fluttering among the grass. Hiking up here sunday evening has become my favorite routine.

"Sure." I shrug absentmindedly.

"Okay. Question for question."

"Um.. Okay." I agree watching the butterfly fly away for good. I sigh in disappointment, Then scooting closer to Beck and turning my camera off. I watch him, oh so routinely turn his writing pad over like he always annoyingly does when I come to close. The weather was warmer since it's now july, making it the hottest month here, so I take off my baby blue tshirt, glad I had a tank top on under, and stretched myself out on the blanket by his feet. "You start."

"Whens your birthday?" He asks as I close my eyes, hearing the rustling of him turning his paper pad back over.

"September twenty fourth. Yours?"

"February third. Whats your favorite fruit?"

"Random. I like raspberries. When I was little I used to stick them on the tips of my fingers. My mom hated is cause I would end up with red tipped fingers the whole raspberry season." I giggle at the memory. "Blaire hated it too cause she got seeds in her braces from it. But Darcy liked them, only cause she prefered to squish them to mush before eating them." I continue to explain. Hes now used to my endless stories of my friends. "Hey. Do you have any best friends?" I ask as my question.

"Nah. I have buddies." He says coolly. "But if youre talking like childhood best friend, I think thatd be Emeree's family. Were kinda really close. Me and her older brother chill alot. Though hes two years younger then me."

"Why didn't he come?"

"He's at that hard stage. He used to come. But the last two years hes chosen not to believe in God."

"Thats sad."

"Hes a sad kid. But he'll come around. They always do right?"

"I suppose so. I think its you're turn."

"Actually I get two questions. You asked me two."

"Not fair! But go ahead. I giggle continuing to soak up the sun.

"What have you learned since you've been here?"

"Patiences. Lots and lots of patiences."

"I think I have to. Do you still miss youre friends?"

"All the time. I don't like change. Whats youre favorite song?'

"I don't have a favorite song... I have a favorite line though. 'I don't care if I break. At least feeling something." He sings lightly.

"Youre okay with breaking?" I ask sitting up looking at him. He turns his pad over as I do.

"Yes. People are so tied up. Everyone needs to break some time. I don't care if I do."

"Maybe youre right. But I hope I never break. It'll be to scary."

"Lets go back before it gets dark." He rises reaching for my hand. I let him help me up then face him.

"Thanks." I smile. "I really like spending these sundays with you"

"Ya. But next weekend is my weekend off. I'm gonna go home. So we won't meet."

"But..." I start. Like I said I don't like change. This is my habit now.

"You'll be fine okay." He senses my distress. He puts his hand on my face gentely.
