Bad idea! {Paige Bueckers}

Part 16

We had just gotten home from the UConn vs Villanova game. When I got back to my dorm I had seen that Paige had sent me a text. "I'll pick you up at 8:00". She was referring to our first real date. Which was tomorrow.

Before I could respond an incoming call from my best friend Tilly popped up on my screen. The last time we had talked I was sobbing to her about Paige.

"Hey girl!" I said answering the call. "I need your help." I said quickly after. "With what?" "Well so Paige and I aren't on bad terms anymore so we're going on our first official real date tomorrow night. And I have no idea what to wear?"

"Woah slow down you aren't on bad terms anymore?" I went on to explain what had happened a few days before at the girls practice. Then on about how she asked me out.

"Well what kind of date is it?" She asked. "She said it's a surprise." "Well ask her if it's a casual or fancy or a little bit of both?" "Ok" I said pulling up mine and Paige's text messages.

"She says dress fancy but not dress and heels fancy." I said to Tilly who was still on the phone. "Ok I can work with that show me your options." She says back as I prop up my phone on my bed and head towards my closet.

The first dress I pull out is a black lace dress. "To casual." She says simply and I agree. After that I pull out a yellow sundress. "Also to casual." She says to which I agree once again. "Come on Chloe I know you have better options than that I raid your closet all the time." She says as I continue to dig through my closet.

I finally find something that catches my eye. Turning the dress towards the camera to show Tilly. It's a light pink v cut dress that's a little longer than a mini dress but not quite a maxi dress. It's made from a silk fabric and where the straps connect to the dress there are white silk bows.

"Now that is what I'm talking about." Tilly says smiling. "That's the one for sure. And you can curl you hair a do a half up half down with a white or pink bow and your white converse with the silk pink laces. Yup it's perfect." I agree nodding my head hanging it up on my door.

Me and Tilly begin to talk just catching up on a few things before she has to go. I decide that I'm going to take an everything shower tonight because who knows maybe I'll get lucky tomorrow night.

After my shower I lay down in bed. I turn on my alarm for my 9am class tomorrow. I have 3 classes tomorrow. The last one ending at 4:00. Giving me about 4 hours to prepare for mine and Paige's date. Which is plenty of time. But I will still most likely be rushing.

Paige knows my thought process. If your early your on time and if your on time your late. So I'm sure she will be at my door at 7:55. She knows how much I hate when people are late.

I quickly fall asleep the nerves for our date still cross my mind but I'm mostly excited.
