Part 26

Chloe smith

Today was the day that Paige's family would arrive in DC. I was very nervous but also very excited to meet them. Me and Paige had already driven to my parent's house to get the family car. My mom's pink Cadillac Escalade. It was necessary to be able to fit me, Paige, her dad, step mom and half brother drew.

We were now at the airport awaiting their arrival. Paige was very excited. Her little brother and her are very close. Once we saw them round the corner drew took off running and jumping into Paige's arms. "Paigeyyy." He said happily hugging her.

"Hey drew I missed you." She said setting him back down onto the ground her parents now approaching us. "Hi I'm bob it's nice to meet you." Her dad said pulling me into a hug. "Hi it's nice to meet you too." I said back before greeting her step mom moe. Before looking to the side to see drew smiling up at me.

"You are too pretty to be dating Paige?" He said more as a question causing everyone to laugh. Once we made our way to the car Paige and her dad loaded all the suitcases into the back. "So have you guys ever traveled to DC before?" I asked trying to start a conversation as we had about a 30 minute drive back to the apartment complex.

"Nope never I'm very excited." Drew said quickly answering the question. Once we arrived back to the apartments I showed her family to the apartment they would be staying in. It was on the same floor as the one me and Paige were staying in just one hall way away.

"Thank you again for letting us stay here." Her parents said as we stood inside the apartment. "Oh really it's not trouble my parents own a house out side of DC so it's not like they live here." I said smiling. "And what do your parents do again? Because we might just have to change career paths." Her dad said jokingly. "My dad and mom own a business together." I said simply.

I know I have more money than most people but I never like to boast about it. My parents worked hard to be able to live the way we do. And I expect myself to do the same. Once we left the apartment me and Paige headed back to ours drew tagging along with.

Once we got there him and Paige sat on the couch playing fornite. I watched them play as I sat next to Paige. My legs draped over top of hers. "So when's the surprise?" Drew asked before quickly slapping his hand against his mouth. "What surprise?" I asked Paige. "You'll just have to wait and see." She said trying to act nonchalant as she smacked Drew on the back of the head.

The next day

Today was the day of my parent's party. I was at the penthouse most of the day helping my mom with set up. Well more like telling the caterer and decorators where to put stuff. But nonetheless I was busy. The party starts at 6:00pm. And it's now 3:30 and I'm finally getting back to my apartment to get ready.

But as I open the door I hear a loud shout. "SURPRISE!" I look around seeing kk, Azzi, and Nika. I was very happy to see them it had been about a month. I jumped up and down excitedly hugging each girl. And lastly Paige. "This is a good surprise." I said smiling and kissing her on the lips.

All the girls turned to us looking shocked they had all known that me and Paige had things between us but never really made anything official. Until about a month ago. "Oh yea it's official now." I said causing the girls to now jump up and down excited.

"Come on let's go get ready I'm very excited for this party." Nika said pulling me and Azzi down the hallway. We listened to music as we got ready all singing along. When the doorbell rang I made my way over expecting it to be our Starbucks that we door dashed but instead it was Tilly.

I introduced her to everyone her and Nika immediately getting along. A common occurrence whenever nika meets someone. But when I introduced her to kk she froze up barely being able to talk. Yes kk is very masculine but I just didn't expect her to be Tilly's type.

When we all got back to the bathroom and continued getting ready I bombarde Tilly with questions. "Do you think kk's hot?" I questioned gaining the attention of Nika and Azzi now. "Oh my god yes." She responded quickly.

Once we had finished getting ready it was now time for me to get dressed. My new years dress was always my favorite it could be a little more sluty than all my other holiday outfits. This year it was a pretty short pink dress I had ordered from Lucy in the sky.

It had long mesh sleeves and small silver rhinestones all over it. I wore my Victoria's Secret push up bra so my boobs spilled out a little extra. When I exited out of the room. I saw everyone waiting around for me as I was the last one to get dressed. They all looked up nika smiling and Paige practicing drooling.

"Let's gooo come on." I said grabbing Paige's hand. It was a short elevator ride to the 30th floor. Once we arrived there were already quite a few guests as it was about 6:45. We all went our separate ways me and Paige going to grab a glass of champagne.

"You look amazing." Paige said looking me up and down as she rested her hands on my waist. After a while of talking to people and introducing Paige. We made our way out to the patio where the dance floor was. It was now about 8:00 so the party was packed as my parents friends always brought there kids who were around our age.

Me and Paige made our way onto the dance floor. We danced for a while before she offered to go get us another drink to which I agreed. I was dancing before I accidentally bumped into someone. I quickly turned around to apologize before realizing who it was.

No she can't be here right now. Not now. The one person I had been trying to forget about for ages stood right infront of me. Kayden letcher. We had gone to high school together. She was the first girl I had feelings for. The first girl I told about my sexuality. And she broke my heart. Because we went to a Christian private school being in an open lesbian relationship wasn't really an option so me and Kayden kept it under wraps.

She told me she loved me. But when she was making out with Brooke the night before our 1 year anniversary it didn't seem like she did. I was no longer in love with Kayden. I love Paige. I'm in love with Paige. But seeing her brought back all the feelings. The way she made me feel ashamed and ugly. The way she made me cry.

I stood there looking at her. She did not look much different her brown hair shorter now and her nose pierced. She looked down at me in awe. "Chloe um hey it's been so long you look good." She said trying to go in for a hug but I quickly backed away.

I saw my glimpse of hope as Paige made her way back over to me. "Hey Kayden." Paige said as she handed me my drink her hand resting on the small of my back. Kayden plays basketball for the university of gorgetown. Here in DC so I was not shocked when Paige knew her.

"Hey Paige. I see you have already met Chloe." Kayden replied looking down at me. "You to know each other." Paige asked but before I could reply Kayden did. "Oh yea we had a fling in high school. But Chloe here got a boyfriend so you know." She said trying to make me sound like the bad guy.

The time I was with Kayden never overlapped with the time I was with Jordan. She spread a rumor that I had cheated on him with her. She ruined me and now she was trying to make it seem like that was my fault.

After Kayden said this Paige pulled me closer to her. "Yea I did but remember that was after you cheated on me with Brooke and then outed me to the whole school." I said causing Kayden to looked stunned.

"So how do you two know each other?" Kayden asked trying to change the topic. "She my girlfriend." Paige said quickly and confidently as she now wrapped her arm around my waist as kissed me on my lips. I love her so much.

"Oh really um well I should get going now." Kayden said before walking away. Paige now kissed me again much more assertive this time. "What is up with people and think my girlfriend is hot." She said smiling our foreheads leaned against each others.

"You might just have to get my name tattooed on your face." I said jokingly causing Paige to laugh. We danced the rest of the night before everyone gathered around counting down the seconds until the clock struck midnight.

When it did Paige pulled me in and kissed me it was full of passion and love and happiness. "Happy new year Chloe." "Happy new year Paige. I love you so much."
