Chapter 1: Bananas and Betrayal

"You disturb me greatly, kind sir." I said. He was breathing heavily, as though he had run a great distance. After grabbing onto my shoulders, he replied in an urgent tone, "Nananana, nananana, elmo's world-- "

"Ring Ring Ring Ring Ring Ring Ring, Banana Phone. Ring Ring Ring Ring Ring Ring Ring, Banana Phone! I've got this feeling, so appealing, for us to get together and SING!" I completed his sentence, indifferent to the seriousness of the situation.

"NO! BANANA!" he yelled at me furiously. He'd burst out so suddenly that my heart must have been beating a mile a minute.

"Just stick a banana in your ear!" I said, hoping to calm him. It didn't work.

"A banana in my ear?" he repeated, obviously insulted by my attempt to control the situation.

"Just stick a right banana right in your favorite ear!" I gasped, desperate to escape from the trouble I'd gotten myself into. It proved to be more successful this time, though I doubted it was the words that did it. The fear in my voice was unmistakeably sincere. My hands shaking, I tried to reason with him.

"Who you know that be the best? B-A-N-A-N-A-S!" I assured him, hoping he would believe me.

"R-A-P-E, get that penis out of me!" he agreed, giving his consent. I sighed in relief. I didn't think that he would actually believe my hastily made lie. He didn't question my innocence though, blindly trusting the person who had betrayed him, who had pushed his underlings to mutiny. He even thanked me for my loyalty.

As I walked away, I couldn't help but think of him as a premature ohshaktulator. He was such a potato.
