You lock yourself in your room, falling into your knees, you cry. All the bad memories starts replaying in your mind. Your father-like uncle's death, how you became a lab rat for Hydra, how they tortured you, everything.
Flashback
You fall into your knees, crying for your uncle. He's dead. There's nothing you can do to save him now. You forget you're in a middle of fighting until an Hydra agent stab you in your back.You yell out in pain. But all you feel after that is rage. You grab that agent's jaw and neck then use your hands to break his neck in one snap. You grab two knifes in your both hands and stab brutally anyone you see. That catch Hydra's attention.
When you are in your lowest moment, hugging your uncle and crying, a stick hit your head hard, making you black out.
You wake up in cold sweat. Your body is fix into a machine.
"Good, you're awake." You see a man in white coat, giving you a evil smile.
"I saw what you did there. It was impressive. I saw a devil in you. With enough help you can be unstoppable!"
"No" you try to scream but you can't. You're too weak to do anything.
The man in lab coat, turns on the machine. Electricity starts coming out of the machine, making you scream. You yell, beg for them to stop but they don't.
"Day 46. We're working on Project Devil dee" A man records his voice and sets the camera.
"It hurts" your voice was barely a whisper
"Now now don't give up, my sweet little devil. You might not be strong like winter soldier but you took the DNA changing machine without dying. Now you can take any energy and turn it into any energy. Now all you need is some super soldier serum. It'll make you a super soldier without making it look obvious. Great for undercover."
They experiment on you everyday until one day Nick Fury come to recuse you. You were there for 53 days. 53 days of hell.

Friday tells you to meet others in meeting room. You go there finding everyone in here.
"Oh you're here, I was worried sick." Wanda comes to you
"I'm good" you lie.
"What's going on?" You ask
"It doesn't take a genius to understand, what happened today" Tony starts
"Y/n, if you can't trust us and how we'll trust you" Steve quickly tells you
You look down, ever since you came here, you felt safe, happy. They trusted you and you know deep down, if you're staying here, you cannot hide your past from the Avengers for long. Besides you like your job.
"You don't have to tell us anything if you don't want to" Bucky tells you
You take a deep breath and look up.
"You're right, Steve. Trust works both sides. You cannot expect trust from others when you're keeping secrets."
Everyone looks at you. Loki and Thor is here too.
"I'm not what you think I am." Tony and Steve frowns
You continue, "I'm more than that. Please allow me to explain first." They all nods in reply.
"I'm- I was Devil deed" Everyone gasps
"You- how?" Bucky asks, his voice shaking
"Let her explain" Natasha say in her demanding voice before Tony can say something
You look at Nat gratefully. She gives you a smile. You explain everything. How, what you are. Your past, everything.
"After Nick took me under his wing and I became an shield agent."
You look up at their, faces. Their face is hard to read. Of course they won't accept you. Not after everything you did as Devil dee.
"So you can take any energy and turn it into any energy?" Sam asks, breaking the silence. You nod.
"I can even take the energy you used to punch me then hit you with more energy" you reply
Then he says nothing. You fall into an uncomfortable silence. You look down feeling vulnerable.
Suddenly you feel someone hug you. Wanda is hugging you and others join her except Loki of course.
"Damn, you're cool, y/n" Tony says, making you laugh.
"For a moment, I thought you guys hate me" you say, tears running down your cheeks
"Lady Y/n, you're one of us now. We do not hate you" Thor says, giving you a bone crashing hug before wiping your tears.
"Besides, it was never your fault" Steve tells you.
You and others talk for a while and you've never felt this loved.
