Rescued Part 2 - Damian Priest

Y/N POV

As Mia fusses about doing my hair I take in a deep breath and let out a long sigh. Every fibre of me knew I shouldn't be doing this. No matter what I did I couldn't get Damian out of my mind.

The last three days had been amazing I had never felt so free in my life and the company had made it all the better. I had been sad when we arrived here because that meant our time together was over and I didn't want it to.

"Hey, I know you're hung up and your mystery man but all I'm asking is that you my guy a try" she smiles "if you don't like him I will help you find your guy"

"Fine, tell me about him" I say

"He's funny, kind, considerate and one of the sweetest guys I've ever met" she says "he is fiercely loyal and very protective and like you he's a little jaded when it comes to love but I really do think he is perfect for you"

"You do realise that sounded like you were describing a dog" I say as we both start laughing

"It did a bit didn't it" she smiles "well I can't tell you any details because that will spoil the suprise"

"I'm not promising anything.....I mean my guy is pretty hard to beat" I smile "he is amazing, I just hope I can find him when the time comes"

When Mia is done she takes me down to the hotel lobby. We are greeted by a grinning Keith who points towards a small room off to the side from him.

"Right this way, your gentleman will join you presently" he smiles

"Wait" I say pausing "you aren't going to lock us in here are you?"

"No of course not" Mia laughs "we wanted you two to have privacy and also a means to escape if it doesn't work"

Nodding I watch them leave and the  begin pacing nervously round the room my thoughts only on Damian. Where was he? What's was he doing? Was he thinking of me at all? And would I ever find him.

Damian POV

As I ride the elevator down to the hotel lobby I use my reflection in the glass to make sure I look OK. This was ridiculous I had told Keith all about y/n and he still insisted I give this girl a try.

Everything in me wanted to walk out the hotel and go find y/n. I was terrified I didn't think I would ever find a connection with some one not after what happened and then there she was like she was heaven sent.

"Ah good evening your lady awaits" Keith grins and it's all I can do to not to smack the grin off his face.

"I swear of she is some kind of crazy lady I will kick your ass" I say

"Understood" he chuckles "right through there"

I walk into the room and at first I can't see anything but then I notice a faint silhouette right at the back of the room.

As I walk slowly towards her a gently clear my throat and she immediately jumps clasping her heart.

"Sorry I didn't mean to scare yoy" I say and she visibly freezes

"Damian!" She gasps before spinning round to look at me

"Y/N!" I gasp back "what are you.......how are you here?" I ask as meet in the centre of the room

"I think......I was waiting for some one. Remember I told you my friends are trying to set me up" she says

"Yes of course" I smile "mine too.......wait a second........whose wedding are you attending?" I ask

"Mia and Keith" she says and I chuckle

"Well it appears we have the same friends" I smile "and I think we are what the other was waiting for"

"Well that's a relief" she smiles "I was kind of hoping I would find you"

"Yeah me too" I say "I'm not sure what I can offer you or how much of me I can give but I haven't stopped thinking about you and I would really like to explore this and give it try........if you are up for it?" I ask

"I'd like that very much" she smiles "I haven't stopped thinking about you either"

Closing the gap I reach put with a shaking hand and cup her cheek, she leans into my touch smiling softly. I bring my other hand to her other cheek and move her face so she is looking up at me.

Hesitantly I bring my face to hers and kiss her so softly only to hear her hum agaisnt my lips. Her hands come to rest of my chest and I feel her rise to her tiptoes as she kisses me back.

Moving our faces back from each other but not out bodies she smiles up at me and it takes my breath away. I had no idea what this was, what she was doing to me but I knew I wanted this, wanted her.

"How about we get out of here and take a walk?" She smiles "get away from prying eyes" she says nodding towards the door and I see Mia and Keith looking like to floating heads by the door.

"Sounds perfect let's get out here" I say placing an arm around her shoulder

"Nosey bastards" I say in their direction as we walk past and they just grin and wave us off as we leave the hotel and walk out into the night.
