Camp Half-Blood was a sight to see in winter time.

Sure, Ash has prepared for the moment when she first steps into the area but despite the rocky start to her dream, it was looking pretty accurate. She had read about it and asked around about the camp when she was younger and was told some quite impressive things. The camp was the safest place for demigods out there since nothing was allowed out of the camp boarders unless the director, Mr. D said it could.

Dionysus, Mr. D

Huh...

The weather was controlled as well, as she had been told, and right now the snow was allowed to fall lightly. It covered a chariot track and strawberry fields in the distance. Lights flickered around the cabins that seemed like fairy lights but when she looked closer they were actually small balls of fire. There was a house in the distance, which she assumed was the Big House where the director and Chiron lived. There was a light in the attic and Ash felt a wave of unease hit her as she wondered if that was the quarters of the infamous Oracle of Delphi.

"Woah," Nico said in awe as he stumbled off the bus. "Is that a climbing wall?"

Ash helped him find his balance and tilted her head to look at him better. "I think so kid, how about we have a got at it later?"

Nico looked at her with shining eyes. "Really!"

"Yeah, why not!"

"Why is there lava pouring down it?"

"A little extra challenge," Percy said as he motioned over to the Hunters. "I'll introduce you to Chiron, Zoë have you met-"

"Yes, I know Chiron," Zoë said stiffly. "Tell him that we are in Cabin Eight. Hunters follow me."

"I can show you the way." Grover offered

"We know the way," Zoë stated. "Ash, you can stay with us if you like- you can go meet Chrion as well."

Ash smiled softly. She might not be claimed but she always had a home with the Hunters.

Zoë nodded her head in understanding. The Hunters made their way to a stunning silver cabin with their bows and arrows swung over their shoulders.
As Bianca Di Angelo went to go with them, she knelt over and whispered something in her brothers ear. Then she left. Just like that, Bianca left her brother standing in the middle of nowhere with tears threatening to fall from his eyes.

Ash looked at him with pity.

He's like what ten! How could Bianca just- leave him there... all alone

She caught the boy looking at her and she opened her arms and the little kid flung himself into them. She hugged him tightly as he hung on her as if she was the only thing keeping him afloat.

"Hey, how about we both go to meet Chrion after this and then you can show me you're game- or talk to me if you'd like." She softly said as the boy nodded slowly

She smiled and let him go.

"Take care," Apollo called off to the Hunters as they left. "And watch out for those prophesies, Jackson. I'll see you soon." He smirked at the scowling boy.

He then turned his attention to Ash. His eyes staring at her as if he could see past her skin and bones to her soul.
"You're leaving now?" she asked softly

"Well, I've got a 'giant ball of gas' to drive around. If you need me, just ask. Whenever you step into the sunlight you have my attention." He smiled at her now- at her flustered state. He looked at her in a different way now, there was something else in his eyes. It wasn't the warmth that she saw earlier, it was more deeper than that. Like a fire, or something like it. Like he was trying to keep a part of her with him.
