Chapter Nine

~ At the beach ~

I wrapped my towel around me tightly. I'm really cold.

" You okay?" Asked Paul. " You cold?"

" Mhm," I said.

He pulled me into a embrace and his temperature is hot. I snuggled into his chest and I feel a little bit warm.

" I love you," he says.

" I love you too," I said before falling asleep.

~ Next Morning ~

I woke up in my bed. Paul probably tucked me yesterday.

I got out of bed and I wasn't wearing the same clothes as last night. I was wearing a loose t-shirt.

I walked to my bathroom and turned on the shower. I waited for it to be warm and once it was, I took off my loose t-shirt and my undergarments and hop inside.

I rinsed my body and hair. Then I squirt shampoo in my hand and massage it into my hair. I rinsed my hair and washed my body, then I squirt conditioner in my hand and massage it back into my hair. I rinsed my body and hair again. I decided to brush my teeth here in the shower.

I walked downstairs with my phone and see mom already cooking.

" Morning sweetie," she says.

" Morning mom," I said.

" Come and eat," she says.

I sat down in the barstool and she give me a plate of bacon, eggs, hash browns, and sausage.

" Thank you," I said.

" Anytime," she says.

I started eating and Veronica came and sat down next to me.

" How was your sleep?" I asked my mouth full of food.

" Van close your mouth while your eating," my mom scolded me.

" Sorry," I muffled.

" My sleep was amazing!" She said. " How about yours?"

" Good," I said.

" Here you go sweetie," mom said putting a plate of bacon, scramble eggs, hash browns, and sausage to Veronica.

" Thanks mom," she said.

" No problem," mom smiled at her.

^ Few Hours Later ^

My phone rang and it was Paul.

P: Hey babe

V: Hey

P: How was your day?

V: Good... What about yours?

P: Bad

V: Why bad? Explain.

P: A leech came and attacked Seth and I tried to go follow him but he just vanish.

V: Holy sh*t! Is he okay?! Where is now?! Vero will be worried!

P: Babe calm down okay? Seth is fine but he broke an arm. And Seth wants Vero to come over so tell her.

V: I will. Wait are you in Sam's house?

P: Yes and come over too please?

V: Alright we'll be there. I love you!

P: I love you too!

" Vero want to go see Seth?" I asked.

" Yes!" She exclaimed.

We walked outside and ran to Sam's house (vampire speed).

Once we arrived, my ankle boots were a little bit dirty and Alice will kill me! But eh I don't care.

We went inside, me wiping my shoes in the mat.
