Mistakes and Breakups

You stayed in Hawaii for another couple of days but now you're back home and back to reality. You got home yesterday and you just woke up when you get a Skype call on your phone. You look and see it's Jack. You and him have gotten really close over the past almost year that you have known him. You talk pretty much every day and you see him as the older brother you never had. You also talk to the girls but not as often. You quickly answer the call and immediately notice something is wrong.
"Jacky what's wrong?" You ask.
Jack just starts breaking down crying and you feel so bad. You wish you could hug him right now.
"M-my girlfriend cheated on me." He said.
"What no way! You two were so good together!" You say in disbelief.
"I know I was surprised too. She said she just doesn't see a future with me. That she tried to imagine it but couldn't then fell for someone else." He says.
"Damnit Jacky I'm so sorry. Well it's her loss if she can't see what a great guy you are then she's fucking blind." You say.
Jack laughs.
"Umm this is awkward but can I talk to you and Mark together if he's not busy?" He asks.
"Of course let me go get him I think he's editing but he'll want to know what's going on with you." You say.
You put the phone on the coffee table then quickly g9 and get Mark. You knock on his office door.
"Come in." You hear through the door.
"Hey babe do you have a sec?" You ask.
"For you? Always. I just finished up so I'm all yours what's up?" He asks.
"It's Jack his girlfriend cheated on him and he's in a really bad way. He wants to talk to you and I together." You say.
"Oh no I'm coming right now." Mark says. He gets up and follows you to the living room where Jack is still on your phone screen. You and Mark sit on the couch and you pick up the phone and hold it so Jack can see both of you.
"Hey buddy I heard what happened I'm so sorry that sucks." Mark says.
"Y-yeah I know." Jack says fighting a new wave of tears.
"So what did you need we'll do whatever we can to help you through this man." Mark says.
"Thank you I appreciate that. I was wondering if I can come stay with you guys for a while. I need to get out of this house for a while. I won't be able to heal when everywhere I look I see her." He says choking up.
"Of course man you're always welcome here." Mark says.
"Thank you so much I'll book the next flight out now." Jack says.
"Jack don't mention it. Once you've booked it send me your flight info and we'll pick you up from the airport." Mark says.
"Will do thanks again." Jack says.
"Anytime buddy." Mark says.
Jack hangs up then Mark shakes his head.
"Damn I feel so bad for him." Mark says.
"I know it sucks." You say.
Not long after Jack sends Mark his flight info. You make dinner while Mark texts him and once dinner is done you talk to Mark while you eat. Once you're done eating you clean up then watch a couple movies before getting ready for bed. Once you're ready for bed you give Mark a kiss then snuggle up to him.
"I love you so much baby goodnight." Mark says.
"I love you so much too Marky goodnight." You say.
You then fall asleep in each other's arms.

*The next day*

You're at the airport with Mark to pick Jack up.
It's not long after you get there that you see a tuft of green hair weave through the crowd toward you. You run up to him and give him a big hug.
"Oh Jacky I missed you. I'm sorry we had to see each other due to these circumstances though." You say.
"Thanks Y/N I really appreciate that and I missed you too." Jack says.
You go back to Marks place to drop Jacks bags off then decide to go to this bar/restaurant. It seems to be exactly what Jack will need to let off some steam.
Once you get there you are seated at a table and order your food and drinks.
Jack is drinking a lot more than normal and is starting to get really drunk. You're getting worried about him. Mark goes to the bathroom and suddenly Jack turns to you.
"Y-you're f-fookin gorgeous you know that?" He slurs.
You gasp at his words but can't help but blush in surprise.
"J-Jack where is this coming from?" You say.
"O-oh just come give ol J-Jackaboy a kiss baby." He slurs then takes you by surprise and pulls you in for a kiss. It's just a peck and you pull away right away. You're in shock. You can't believe he just did that.
"Jack what the hell!" You almost yell.
This seems to sober him up a bit and he realizes what he did.
"Oh fook Y/N I am so sorry please don't tell Merk." He says scared.
"I- Jack I can't hide it from him." You say.
"Ok just wait until we get home." He says.
You nod.
Not long after Mark comes out.
You're talking for a while when suddenly Marks phone blows up. He checks it and his face goes from shock to sadness to anger.
"What the fuck!" He yells.
You've never seen Mark angry before. He's usually the calmest person you know.
"What's the matter babe?" You ask.
"This." Mark seethes showing you his phone.
On the screen is a picture of you and Jack kissing at the bar 20 minutes ago. What the hell?
"M-Mark I can explain." You say.
"Save it I've seen enough. I'm out of here don't bother coming back to the house either of you. We are done. I'll put your most important things outside then we'll arrange a time for you to pick up the rest while I'm out I never want to talk to either of you again. Keep the ring or sell it I honestly don't care." Mark says walking away.
You break down crying and try to follow him.
"Mark please let me explain." You sob. He ignores you and you keep pleading with him to let you explain but he won't listen.
Eventually he makes it to his car and won't let you get in with him. He gets in and speeds off without even buckling his seatbelt. You collapse to the ground sobbing hysterically. You feel a hand on your shoulder and look up to see Jack standing over you with a sad guilty expression on his face.
"Go away Jack haven't you done enough?" You sob out lashing out at him from your heartbreak. Hurt flashes behind his eyes but he walks away giving you space. Once your sobs have died down a little bit you pull your phone out and call the one person who might be able to help you talk some sense into Mark.
