Unthinkable (GL Thai - Ghost Ship)

Part 3

Patricia loss consciousness that they rush her to the emergency room. Doctor Ling is the one that helped her in ER while Sarocha as nurse assisted her.

"Does she have any medical condition? Do you know her medical history?" Ling asked.

"None that I know of." Sarocha replied but then she quickly remember that Pat is regularly taking some meds lately. She mentioned it was just a supplement but she is being suspicious over it.

"I think she is on maintenance meds on something but I'm not sure what it is." She said and quickly inspection her bag to look for that small medicine tray that Pat always has in handy.

"Okay, let's check the meds." Ling said as she continue to check her vitals.

"Here you go." She said and hand over the meds to Ling.

They quickly scan each tablet meds. They are usual vitamins, antihistamine and other over the counter meds for cold and fever. Nothing to be concern about except for one that caught Ling's attention. She grab that medicine and show to the ER doctor.

"She needs an ECG." She said and quickly order the ER nurse to assist them.

"ECG for what?"

"I think she has heart condition." She said as they let the ER nurse and ER Doctors to take over.

"Is she gonna be okay?" Sarocha asked, she is concern.

"Dr Tan and Dr Lai will be there for her. I think they already called her family too."

Sarocha just nods and sat down to nearby waiting area.

"Do you want to stay with her as she wait for her family?" Ling asked.

"No. I better not." She replied and sigh.

Then, she pick up her phone and call Orm, Pat's best friend.

"Orm, Pat is in the ER. She is unconscious. Do you know about her condition?"

Sarocha listened to the other line as she anxiously shake her legs. She is trying to regulate her emotions as she talk to Orm while Ling is in her side gently brushing her shoulders.

"I see." She said after a few minutes and then she heave a sigh. "Do you mind to drop by? She needs someone right now."

"I'll be there in 20 minutes."

"Okay. Thank you."

Phone call ends.

Sarocha look up to Ling and nods.

"I think you are right."

Orm arrived at the hospital. Pat is still unconscious and the hospital staff refuse to talk or give her any update because they said that they are waiting for the family to arrive.

"The family specifically mentioned not to divulge any information to anyone. They are on their way to the hospital, you may wait here."

She sigh and nods.
