Unthinkable (GL Thai - Ghost Ship)

Part 16

Orm is at home staring at her phone.

She is contemplating on whether or not she should reach out to Ying, they actually keep contact and would usually talk or catch up about their day. They usually talk during this time and they are pretty much consistent on it, except for days that they are both busy.

She genuinely enjoy those conversation because she finds Ying's perspectives on different things endearing. Ying is not a sweet talker, she is actually a realist and have alot of fruitful insight that Orm really likes. Orm is more of on idealist side but she is open to hear the opposite side in a good conversation. They also share the same passion on book reading, they bond most of the time by reading the same book and share their thoughts and idea after reading.

Tonight, after the coffee shop encounter --
Orm is impatiently waiting for Ying to call or text her first. She doesn't usually care who reached out first but now she do cares. She just finished reading one of Ying's book recommendation and she wants to pour her thoughts on it so she is pissed that Ying is not yet texting her.

Yep! I just need to share my thoughts. This has nothing to do with that coffee shop encounter.

She tried to convince herself but the image of Ying talking to Kate flashes through her mind suddenly pisses her off.

"Fine... I'll reach out first." She said as she type something.

'Are you done with your date? I'm done with your book reco... it's good, thank you for recommending it. Do you have other books to reco?'

She sent it right away and wait for few minutes but nothing... no seen and reply.

She heave a sigh.

Okay. She still not done with her date.

She put down her phone and decided to make herself a nice mango fruit shake. She left her phone in her room as she doesn't want to look pitiful while waiting for her reply.

While she is preparing mango shake, her mother came in.

"You are stress again?" Mom asked as she usually makes fruit shake when she needs to relieve her stress.

Orm smile.

"No, I just suddenly crave for some sweet." She replied to keep her mom from worrying.

"Really?"

She smile widely as she pour the shake to her cup.

"Yes, Mom. Do you want some?" She asked as she still has plenty of shake.

"No, I'm good." Her Mom replied and about to leave her when she turn to her again. "Orm, how is Pat right now? Is it true that they will migrate abroad?"

"No, I don't know about that. I just know that they are considering to fly abroad so Pat can receive treatment. I don't think they will migrate to a different country for good. It will be just a temporary thing."

"I see. There are rumors circling around so some of the employees and investors are concerned. I'm just wondering if there is any insiders insights." She said laughing.

"No, I don't know. But will let you know if Pat say anything."

"Okay."

Orm smile as she divulge herself to a yummy shake.

"Are you sure that you are not stress about something?" Her Mom asked again.
