'Are you done with your date? I'm done with your book reco... it's good, thank you for recommending it. Do you have other books to reco?'

Is she jealous?

Ying smile as she stare at her phone. She is trying to hide it because she doesn't want Kate to notice but she just can't help it.

Nong Orm...

Her smile lingers on her lips as she pick up some more books for Orm.

"You're reading sci fi now?" Kate asked.

"No, it's not for me. These are for Orm." She said as she picks up new release from Orm's favorite authors.

"Oh..." Kate eyes instantly spark and ready to tease her.

"Stop it." Ying said to warn her right away and move to different isle to avoid Kate.

"She is with Yoko earlier, right? I thought she is dating Yoko, they look good together. Now, I'm confused." She said and tilt her head as if she is trying to make sense of everything.

Ying suddenly stop and thought of it for a second.

Hmm... what if?

"Naah! Impossible." Ying said to stop her mind from over thinking and turn at Kate. "Yoko actually likes Orm's bestfriend."

"Ahhh... I see." Kate smile and nods, her eyes are still teasing Ying. "Hmm...how about Orm? Well, I know someone likes Orm. But is it mutual or Orm likes someone else?"

Kate giggles as Ying face turn red.

"Come on tell me... are you guys dating?" Kate asked again, clearly invested on their story.

"No, we are not dating." Ying laugh as she pick up some random book from the shelf to cover her face.

"Fuck... don't act like that in front of me. I'll kick your ass. We are not high school anymore for you to act all shy and innocent cause I know you are not." She said as she grab the book away and playfully pat it in her head.

They both laugh together.

"Honestly, I'm just really playing with her...at first. But I don't know now. I enjoy her company. I love her wit and oh my god, I'm not gonna lie... she is also  attractive and beautiful."

Kate smile, her eyes are genuinely happy.

"I'm excited for you, Ying. But don't you dare tell her that you are just playing with her, okay? Orm seems sensitive girl. She will hate you for it."

"I know. I'm not that stupid."

"So you will date her?"

"I don't know yet. You know I'm very hard to date."

"No, you are not. We are just not match but that doesn't mean you are hard to date."

Ying laugh.

"Oh, Kate... you are too kind. You know what I mean." She said and look at her in the eyes seriously.

Kate nods and smile, she knows what Ying meant so she nods and smile.

"It will not be easy. But I know you will your find match."

Ying did not comment anything after that as she become busy capturing books to her phone then she queue on the counter and paid for her cart.

She is smiling as she send all the book photos to Orm with an invite to meet tomorrow...and she literally burst into laughter when she receive her reply.
