6 - What Does It Mean?

We were in a helicopter on the way to the city. I asked the pilot how many hours would it take to get there. He said that it would take about 5 hours. I didn't know that we were that far from the island. I was feeling sleepy with all the stuff happening. This was completely different than Lepython.

"I'm gonna take a nap. I'm a little sleepy." I told Ylona.

"Yeah, sure." She said.

"Yeah, me too." Jet said and looked at Marina.

"What? You don't need my permission, go ahead!" She exclaimed.

Jet and I laughed.

I closed my eyes and began to sleep. Once again, I had a weird dream. I think was in the middle of a forest because we were in a field but about 10 meters there are trees all around us. I was with Jet with our swords. Whats happening? Ylona is behind me watching us. Marina was doing something with her portable laptop. But then Jet said,

"Stop it, Earl!"

What did he mean?

"I'm gonna kill you all!" I said with no control.

"Please, Earl! Stop it! Ylona shouted.

I turned to look back and laughed. I want to kill myself. Ylona had some wounds.

"Lets go, Jet! Lets see how strong you really are!" I said.

"You don't leave me no choice pal!" He said.

We both ran towards each other. We were attacking but we were evenly matched. I kept blocking and dodging his attacks while he did the same to mine. I suddenly saw an opening to attack him and took it. When I was about to hit him, I woke up.

"No!" I screamed, shocking Ylona and Marina, and waking up Jet.

"What happened? Are you okay?" Ylona asked.

"I'm fine. Its nothing. Just a bad dream."

"We're here." The pilot said, about to land.

"Damn, Earl you woke me up." Jet said.

"Sorry."

"No problem." He said.

We walked out of the helicopter and told the pilot to be careful.

"Well, we'll see you." I said.

"Thanks for helping us." Jet said.

We shook hands.

"Do you guys know where his office is?" Ylona asked.

"Yeah, got the location from my laptop. This laptop's cool!" Marina said.

"How about you? You know how to get to the island?" Jet asked.

"We'll figure something out." I said.

"Well, good luck." I added.

"You too."

And we went our seperate ways.

"Where should we go?" Ylona asked.

I took out my map and tried to figure out where we should start.

"There's a pier there. Maybe we can hitch a ride or something."

"Ok, lets look there."

We went to the pier and saw ships. Ocean liners. These were too noisy if we were gonna use this to get to the island. Luckily, we saw a palm boat and asked the one who owns it if he can get us to the nearby island.

"Sure, but needs payment." The old man said.

I tried to search my pockets for money and there was a pouch full of money in my pocket. Not much but we can make it with this. I never felt it before. There was a note from Hurricane attached saying,

"Here. You might need this."

I took out 50 bucks and I gave it to the old man.

"Thanks. Now get in." He said.

"Where'd you get the money?" Ylona asked.

"Hurricane."

"Are you serious?"

I nodded.

"Is it long to make it there?" I asked the old man.

"Pretty long. About an hour or two."

I didn't know it was that long. I was surprised when Ylona rested her head on my shoulder.

"Now, let ME take a nap."

"Yeah, sure." I said.

I kissed her forehead.

When we arrived at the island, it was full of guards. And we could see their hideout even if we were a thousand feet away because it was filled with spotlights.

We were hiding and we didn't notice the guard and he saw us.

"Hey!" The guard said.

"What are you doing here?!" He added.

Luckily, the guard was just alone.

Ylona threw a rock to his head. He was disoriented so I took the chance to attack him. I knocked him out with the bottom of the handle of my sword.

"Hurricane!" I whispered to my earpiece.

"What is it?"

"This place is crawling with guards!"

"Cyborgs?"

"No, people. Human."

"Damn, he really is prepared."

"What do you mean?"

"Before, a worker here built a virus that can be wirelessly transmitted to their circuit, shutting them down."

"Well then, what are we supposed to do?"

"Be silent. Sneak. If you encounter any guards, make sure you don't kill them. Just knock them out."

"Ok, will do. Thanks."

"What did he say?" Ylona asked.

"This is gonna be a whole lot harder."
