ONE thing Paige learned about herself was that sometimes, she just needed to let loose. And judging by how Clark acts sometimes, he too needed to let loose. And one way Pete had figured that they could both just relax for a minute was to ride on the dirt bikes he recently pulled out of storage.
So, here they were, riding through sandy hills on their dirt bikes. Paige looks behind as she takes the lead and goes over a small dirt hill serving as a ramp, and sends her into the air with Pete follow behind her as well as Clark and they all land perfectly.
They continue through the field and Pete makes another jump before they both stop outside the fence of the construction site. Paige stops as she sees the construction sight. Apparently last night, there had been some freak accident. And her, Clark and Pete see the damage of the night before and several police officers questioning the workers.
"What are the police doing here?" Paige questions. "Some sort of an accident last night. An explosion." Clark answers. "Well, maybe this will convince LuthorCorp to finally get the hell out of Smallville." Pete comments.
Clark shakes his head, "It's an office park, Pete, not a toxic waste dump. What's the harm in that? Come on, I'll race you guys back to Miller's Bend." He tells. "Not if I get a head start." Paige tells as she puts her helmet back on and they ride through the dirt once more.
The three continue on the trail and come to a point where the trail forks in two directions. Clark goes to the left while Pete and Paige go to the right. They'd made their way around and began to head to the path to meet up with Clark and instead are met up with his bike and the earth plummeted. He'd landed pretty hard.
Pete and Paige hop off of their bikes at this and go towards the surface. "Clark? Clark!" Paige questioned as she called for him. "Clark! You down there?" Pete asked.
"Yeah, guys, I'm all right!" Clark called back. "Hey, man, you gonna need some help or can you jump your way out?" Pete questioned.
"I've got some company down here!" Paige furrows her brows. "Company?" She asks Pete. The boy shrugs and responds back, "All right, man. As long as you're all right."
After that, Paige had gone home, deciding to meet her parents for breakfast at the mansion. "Dad? Carmen?" Paige called as soon as she opened the door.
