CLARK AND Paige looked down at the leak under the sink at the Talon. Lana sighs as she shakes her head, "24-hour plumbing is a myth. I called every plumber in Smallville and the soonest anyone can show up is tomorrow morning."

"By that time, we're gonna need snorkels." Paige comments. "Let me see what I can do." Clark tells as he grabs the pipe and starts twisting it and the leak begins to get worse. "Oh, wait, wrong way." Paige tells.

Clark then twists the other way and the pressure of the leak increases, shooting water at them both. "Aah!" Paige shrieks. "Ah, the threads are history!" Clark shouts. "I need a wrench!" Lana nods as she runs out of the room.

"You thinking what I'm thinking?" Paige asks. And Clark nods, "Freeze it."
With a wave of her hands, the water stops and Paige looks at Clark. "Do your thing."

Clark's eyes flash red as he uses his heat vision to seal the water completely, stopping the leak. "That should cover it." Paige says, waving the wet hair away from her face.

Both Clark and Paige stand up to their feet as Lana reenters with a wrench and two towels. Surprised, Lana turns towards the pipe and asks, "How did you do that?"

"I just kept twisting and turning and it stopped." Clark tells and it's then that Paige's eyes linger on Clark— his white T-shirt is completely soaked and transparent. And it looks like Lana also noticed. Because the two cannot take their eyes off of him.

"Maybe one day I'll figure out how Clark Kent does the things he does." Lana comments as Paige clears her throat and grabs one of the towels from Lana's hands to wipe herself down.

Lana hands the other towel to Clark as he wipes his face. "You know the people who moved into your house? They have this orange cat that comes by the loft sometimes. I try to talk to him, but he's not half the conversationalist you are." He tells Lana and Paige smirks at Clark's way of trying to talk to Lana.

"I have to admit, I do miss those sunsets." Lana says.
"Yeah," Clark nods. "The sky's not really the same when you see it alone." Okay, Clark, you player!

Lana then turns to Paige, "It's getting late. I, uh, I should go put this back." She holds up the wrench and leaves the room and Clark smiles, following her. Paige raises her brows at her friend as she follows behind them.
