01: To the world of heroes:

~CHAPTER TWENTY~

Rimuru came stumbling out of the portal with Nanato following slowly behind him, with his hands in his pockets.

They were back in the city in Japan where Rimuru first arrived here.

Rimuru took no time at all to regain his footing, and to turn around and face Nanato in defence.

He barked out a question immediately afterwards then: "Just who are you?!"

"Me?" Nanato smirked confidently as he tilted his head; and stepping out of the portal which dissappeared behind him: "I'm assuming you're enemy."

"Don't dodge around the question." Rimuru frowned.

Nanato then used instant move to be right infront of Rimuru.

Rimuru's eyes went wide at this.

"You can call me Nanato. Nice to meet you." He grinned inches from Rimuru's face.

Rimuru leapt backwards warily.

Then the Great Sage's voice spoke up within him: *Causion: Target found. Apprehend immediately.*

'Roger that.' Rimuru narrowed his eyes, and launched towards him.

Before the attack of the villians in the forest, when training with Iida, Izuku, Todoroki and Kirishima, the Great Sage had access and analysed the quirks immediately. Then the skill: Degenerate to make new skills out of it.

As Rimuru rushed towards Nanato, the Great Sage quickly filled Rimuru's head with the new set of skills he acquired after Degenerate was used:

Iida's quirk now = 'Acceleration leg  movement': Allowing Rimuru to speed up using his legs to move at a faster pace.

Izuku's quirk now = 'Kinetic blow': Allowing Rimuru to use his energy to land powerful hits onto his enemies.

Kirishima's quirk now = 'Hardened body': Allowing Rimuru's body to become as hard as iron.

Todoroki's quirk now = 'Flames': Pretty self explanatory. Rimuru can control flames.

So with all that, Rimuru began to put good use into those new skills.

He rushed at the irritating, confident bastard in his eyes, and he used his new found skill: Kinetic blow when throwing a punch; after also using the new skill: Acceleration leg movement to close the distance almost immediately.

With a smirk across his lips still remaining, Nanato swiftly dodged the blow, before sending an attack of his own using his own skill: Thought/Movement acceleration.

Rimuru had that too, and he used the other new skill: Hardening body, as he lifted up an arm to his side, which took the blow.

Nanato looked impressed. He quickly then leapt and aimed a roundhouse kick at him.

But Rimuru ducked down to dodge it, and then afterwards somersaulted backwards, and landed on the balls of his feet.

He then stood up quickly and narrowed his eyes: 'Great Sage, use appraisal on Nanato.'

The Great Sage got straight on it: *Understood.*

Meanwhile, Nanato had raised his hand and a load of lightning bolts started to rain down around them.

Rimuru gasped and leapt out of the way with every strike.

But around them, citizens started to panic and rush about; some even getting hit in the progress.

Soon, chaos erupted.

Rimuru looked around in shock. Then turned back to Nanato: "Oi! You're hurting innocent people here!"

Nanato lowered his arm with a shrug: "And?"

Rimuru growled at this: 'What a lowlife jerk...'

But before Rimuru could react, Nanato used this opportunity to slip away from him, and vanish into the crown.

Rimuru gasped and ran after him.

They both waved around the crowd with speed and accuracy.

Then Nanato lifted himself in the air and a white portal opened up; which himself moved towards now.

Rimuru noticed as he looked up and gasped.

*Quickly: Follow him!*

Hearing the urgency of the Great Sage, Rimuru sprouted his shapeshifting blue wings, and flew up into the air.

He watched Nanato dissappear in the portal, and he used acceleration to go through himself before it closed off...

...Rimuru was back in that space in-between dimensions it seems, and he floated without gravity, that he had to bat his wings to gain some kind of control over himself.

Nanato was up ahead; floating like it was nothing. He was grinning that irritating grin still too.

Rimuru narrowed his eyes; facing him a few feet away.

They both stared at one another with their expressions for a few moments.

Rimuru spoke then: "So Nanato, what are you after?"

Nanato tilted his head: "Mmm? Mmm, good question."

"I want an answer."

"How about you come and get it?" He taunted.

And Rimuru growled at this; irrited.

He threw flew towards him; another battle starting.

Activating his skill: Steel sticky thread, Rimuru casted it so it took a huge amount of area and surrounded Nanato; making it difficult for him to move.

Then Rimuru created a magic circle beneath him, and called out: "HELL FLAME!!"

This was the skill: Hell Flame, and it blasted out flames up towards Nanato.

But Namato did not seem to be effected by any of this, and he moved through the fire and immediately sliced up the threads.

He made his way towards Rimuru now.

But then he was suddenly surrounded by little bubbles, and using the light that was still in this void of space, they blasted out thin lazers of light at him.

The skill: Megiddo.

See, Rimuru did not expect that such small tricks would work against Nanato somehow, and so he prepared extra just in case.

Nanato used Instant movement and Thought acceleration to be able to dodge them. Then homed in to Rimuru with a grin.

Rimuru narrowed his eyes, and used his own Instant movement to now appear behind Nanato like he had teleported.

Then Rimuru striked out...and he went straight through him.

He gasped with wide eyes.

His hair was then grabbed from behind, and yanked backwards now.

Rimuru cried out in shock and pain.

It was Nanato, and he now used his free hand to grab at Rimuru's face.

Rimuru felt that odd sensation again from when they first met and he was touched in the forehead; as the fingers touched his face now.

Rimuru was then thrown, and he entered another portal before everything went dark for him again...
