Meow. It's been a while. Have this. Inspired by the eddisode 'Ruined' where they stumble across that ancient tomb beneath their house. Heavilyyyy inspired by another fic I read based on destiel (I know - who reads destiel these days? That's right, I do. I still read destiel)

Anyway, I wrote this in one session, so if there are any mistakes sorry cuz I don't even bother to edit my works anymore until after posting them. This is also much longer than I anticipated, which is unit bc it's incredibly fan-servicy and there's like, basically no real plot to this. It's nsfw but there's no actual sex yet. Uh that will b in the next chapter bc I'm too tired rn to finish writing it rn lol

Leave it up to Edd—the expert of conundrums—to somehow drag you down into an ancient and, more than anything, CURSED Egyptian tomb burial ground. If it weren't for that hideously charming pout and those rounded puppy eyes he seems to enjoy weaponizing for his own gain, then perhaps you'd still be lounging up in the comforts of your bedroom, a movie before you and a half-eaten bowl of popcorn snuggled in your lap whilst mindlessly scrolling through the brain rot of your instagram's fyp. No, because that totally doesn't sound super amazing right about now. Sarcasm.

You lean against the dust walls of the crypt, delicate yet faded hieroglyphs lining its limestone surface. When you pull your hand away, you wrinkle your nose, attempting to wipe its dust on the surface of the cotton shirt you adorned. Luckily, you decided to forgo any over layers, seeing as the humidity of your surroundings has a small trail of sweat trailing down your collarbone and disappearing beneath the valley hidden under your thin shirt. The dinginess of the dimly lit zone has your lungs working overtime as you attempt to breathe in the air, but you startle when you turn around, face coming within inches of Edd's, to which he hushes you in response.

"Do you hear that?" He whispers.

You strain your ears, attempting to hear what exactly he's tuned in on, but find only the ringing of silence thrum inside your head except for Edd's shallow breathing, which fans lightly across your face. You quirk a brow, not understanding as he points up a finger.

"Exactly - it's too quiet. Not even a fly," he states matter-of-factly. "Think the others are doing alright?"

Right. Another one of Edd's brilliant ideas. 'Hey guys, look at this super cool and super old Egyptian crypt. Mayhaps we should all split up on the off chance we find some treasure?' You roll your eyes internally. While Tom and Tord squabbled over who should be partnered with Edd, the green hoodied man had taken your wrist and dragged you off with him, leaving the other three to bicker amongst themselves before they even realized the departure of the pair of you. Perhaps it was his way of ending that debate, rather wanting to have someone who wouldn't try to make things any more complicated. But between the two of you, that would hardly even be a second thought of who might that be, Edd being the complete opposite of conventional and un-complicated.

You think about Edd's question. Well, sure, you wanna say yes. But knowing these guys, it's... hard to say. Having already witnessed an innumerable amount of deaths—ones which you're not sure if they'll ever even come back alive from, to which you're often surprised by when they do in fact come back—you're inclined to just say nothing of the matter, your brain already too busy trying to keep yourself alive, for that matter.

"Edd,why don't we just—"

"Hold that thought, (name)."

Annnnd, he's off again. Great.

You watched him walk across, down towards another section of room, trailing behind lethargically. The torch he held had made something glint from beyond the darkness of the walls, catching your eyes. He held it higher, revealing a plaque with an encryption engraved into the stone. A beautiful green jewel is sat upon its surface, strangely button-like and very, very pushable.
