24. TWO INITIALS, ONE SOUL

— ANAIS' POV

The calming yet vibrant of the sunlight that gleamed earlier has finally set behind the horizon, as the day slowly darkens and the weather grows colder when both Anais and Jay stroll side by side along the bridge that they have visited before. Hurting from their long walk from their date, Anais eventually pulls Jay for a stop to have a seat on one of the vacant benches provided in the same area, facing the night life of Seoul that illuminates those lights of skyscrapers. The two of them let themselves engulf in silence momentarily, before Jay collides the quietness apart, "Thinking about it, this is the first official date we've had, right?".

Anais hums quietly beside the male in return as her eyes are completely distracted by the busy nightlife's view before her. "Yes, it's our first official date together as a couple and it has been such a bless to have you around in my life right now, without you in it, I don't think I'll ever be enjoying life as much as right now. . ." Anais states truthfully, her breath hitches slightly when she tries to complete those words. It's almost feels as though she breaks into the sudden wave of emotions within herself. "Thank you for making me the happiest girl, Jay".

Closing the distance between them, Anais scoots closer to her boyfriend by clinging her arms around his bicep, resting her head on his shoulder so endearingly, "I think I should thank you too, for accepting me, who was in desperation to be loved and seen by you." Jay mutters, swallowing his words whilst tilting his cheek slightly to graze against Anais' soft hair.

"I'll be gladly give you my all for the sake of your happiness. Now that you've mentioned it. I felt stupid for not noticing you earlier, Jay — the way you loved me more than anyone ever did, the way you cared for me secretly and have sacrificed some of the things along the way just to be with me" Anais utters above a whisper, forcing herself not to be in a state of emotional.

Anais senses the soothing strokes on the surface of her hair as Jay is caressing her tenderly as an attempt to comfort and pamper her, "I don't lose anything along the way, instead I gained something. It was you." Jay murmurs, breathing in as he slowly continues again. "If you don't mind, can I ask for a favour?" The male requests.

"Yeah, what is it?" Anais asks, darting her eyes on Jay's on her side, closer than ever, as she's patiently waiting for him to utter his desired request to her. "Can you permanently stop being Summer and just continue live your life, just as yourself, as Anais Kim alone?". Upon the mention of her other name, it clicks to Anais' brain immediately that Jay is talking about MyFans.

"You mean, you want me to stop associate myself with MyFans?" Anais asks for reassurance, voice layers with doubts and hesitancy. Nodding his head ever so slightly, Jay glides his fingers through Anais' hair while his eyes turns to her back-and-forth from those strands of hair and to her softened eyes, "I want you to fully rely on me, regardless of your needs, I can support you financially. When I start my career in the corporation soon, I promise I'll take care of you with everything that you'll ever need" Jay claims.

"I'll delete the account for the sake of us. But you don't have to go through trouble just to support me, Jay. When you get the position soon, just focus on your career growth first, okay? I'll be okay on my own soon now that my mother's getting well" Anais says, breaking her stare away from the male eventually.

"I will respect your decision. But just in case you're having a financial problem, just remind me right away and I am ready to provide you as much as I can." Jay states, his fingers remain to stroke Anais' hair lightly before he pulls away from her. "Oh, I have something for you"
