We Sorta Kinda Just Happened (A Drarry Story)

Chapter 4

As soon as they sat down, Hermione mad yet surprised, greeted them.

"Ron! Harry!"

She smiled.

"How...what...you just...just..."

Ron rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly.

"Surprise?..."

In response, she gave him a kiss, which would have turned into a full-blown snog fest if Harry hadn't coughed.

Hermione broke away from Ron and rolled her eyes.

"That was a very Ron move, Harry..."

"Hey!"

"You know it's true, Ron. It's nice to see you both again!"

Her face quickly grew serious, and tinged with a bit of anger.

"Do you two have anything to saw for yourselves!" She practically screeched into their ears.

"Huh?"

Harry was the first to realize what she meant.

"Um..well, sorry for not telling you we're coming?.."

Ron jumped in.

"Well, sorry 'Mione, we wanted it to be a surprise..."

"That's nice, Ron, but couldn't you have owled first?"

"Then it wouldn't be one!"

"And that's fine Harry! Do you know how worried I was this morning when I didn't get a letter from you?!?"

They heard a snort come from Ron's side. Ron glanced at the person, and was surprised to see it was Malfoy.

Harry was surprised, too.

I didn't even realize he was there! How long had he been listening in?...

Ron quickly compensated and turned his glance into a glare.

"Problem, Malfoy?"

"Nothing, nothing of your concern. Go on, go on back to talking."

Malfoy waved his hand, dismissing Ron.

Harry watched as Ron gave Malfoy a final glare.

He cast a Muffiltio charm, then said to Harry

"That was certainly odd."

"You sure that's not an imposter, Ron?"

Ron shrugged.

"It could be. The Malfoy I know would have insulted me. Then I would have insulted him. And things would still make sense. Maybe he's under an Imperuis curse."

Harry turned to Hermione.

"Could he be imperuised, 'Mione?"

She had a funny look on her face and she was looking at Malfoy.

"Huh? Imperuised? No! Draco can act like a decent person, you know!"

Harry's eyes widened.

Ron said loudly "Who the bloody hell is Draco?!? Because I'm pretty sure we refer to the git as Malfoy!"

He turned to Harry and had a quiet chat about the possibility of Hermione being imperuised, too.

Harry felt someone's gaze on him, but figured it was Hermione.

"Huhmm..." Mumbled Hermione.

"What?"

"Nothing, Harry, nothing." She said while poking her food and making little huhmms and hmmms.
