Chapter 54 A moment of Happiness

Days came and went. The routine was pretty much the same for your son. Wake up ,or more like stay in bed for hours straight, then get up get dressed and go tend to meetings and review paperwork. Lots and lots of paperwork. Kunimitsu was getting more and more upset. When he had breaks he would sit infront of the cell that held the pink fox. He kept her alive only to use her as target practice for his attacks. Having been encouraged by you to embrace his anemo vision he practiced when he had the time. Or when he snuck out during the night because he couldnt sleep. That said to say he still kept his cold behavior was true.

The citizens of Inazuma couldnt complain much though. While they understood their new Archon wasnt the most approachable they all agreed he was much more considerate. The economy of the nation greatly improved. The borders were open to the outside world and allowing ships from all over to dock and bring goods from overseas for trading and selling. People with family from the outside that had been cut off due to them sneaking out when Ei was Archon came on special visas to reunite with loved ones. Visions werent hunted. The rebellion ceased as their was no reason to fight anymore. It seemed that peace has finally settled upon the land of Eternity.

Well. As long your son didnt throw a tantrum. Some people called him the 'childish archon' or 'the longing archon' since they all understood that if there was one thing their Archon cared about. It was you and it was made loud and clear whenever he threw a tantrum. Your brother as much as he could kept working with him trying to help him with his temper but it was clear whatever words he told him went in one ear and out the other. He tried to talk to him, didnt work, he tried to have a heart to heart ,it gave some result.. but he quickly closed himself after. In the end your brother was close to calling for help when he received a letter.

He was resting in his room when he was told he got mail. At first he thought it was one of his brothers trying to communicate but soon realized it was from you. Quickly opening it he read what you written him. He felt tears of joy well up reading the news of the findings. But more importantly he read of how you decided to come visit to see your son's progress. He let out a sigh of relief he felt like you would be able to help control your son's temper. Reading the rest of the letter he saw you requesting to not tell your son about your arrival as you want to see him in his work mode. "Oh.. she knows if he was aware he would put on a show" he told himself "She knows him well." Looking to see when you would come he looked shocked to read the last sentence that said that you would be arriving shortly after he received the letter.

"oh jeeze so any hour?" he asked himself "Welp! Time to stake out the ports" he grabbed his book and left. He didnt wait long as you arrived the next morning. He was sitting by the port reading under the morning sun when he saw your boat arrive. Seeing you unboard the ship he ran quickly to tackle you into a hug "Sister of mine! I missed you so much!" he said happy making you laugh.

"Uh? Y/n?" Bennet looked confused as he walked over with Razor close behind.

"Oh dont worry that is Y/n's big brother Daktari" Paimon said as she floated over with Aether next to her. Albedo following closely behind.

"Oh so hes one of the brothers she told us off" Bennet said remembering.

"Y/n's Lupical" Razor said watching Daktari talking to you.

"A living sibling?" Albedo asked. "Hm. How interesting."

"I have to admit sister. You caught me off guard coming over so suddenly like this." Daktari said.

"Well I wanted to see you two and I have some news to share as well" you explained. You saw your brother look curious then look rather smug. "What are you thinking?"

"Oh nothing.." your brother said standing up crossing his arms "Just thing how my dear brothers Mort and Aleski must be acting like when they find out you visited me first!" he laughed to himself "Oh what I would give to be a fly on their wall when they find out!" you watched him look excited at the thought "Ha!" he pointed to where he believed Aleski general direction would be "Take that big brother! I am the favorite!"
