I have the results for the game. Puss, Loki, Phantom, Egon, Beetlejuice, Shadow, Dib, and Buzz are the final eight characters. The one shots will go in that order.

Tonight was your first night staying in the castle. Harold and Lillian were more than understanding and welcomed you with open arms to stay as long as you wanted.

Puss was asleep while you were on the balcony of your new room. You couldn't fall asleep, so you resulted to some stargazing. Your thoughts swam.

What is my new plan? Overstaying my welcome is not on my to-do list. The factory was my only form of business. What am I gonna do?

"Mi hada, are you all right?" you heard.

You looked over your shoulder to see Puss on his hind legs. "Go back to bed, Puss. I'm fine."

"What are you doing out here?" he asked.

You leaned on your elbows against the concrete railing of the balcony as Puss jumped onto it. "I couldn't sleep."

He sat animalistically next to you. "Are your thoughts getting to you?"

"Yeah," you said. The stars twinkled against the black sky. "I don't wanna be a burden to Harold and Lillian, but I don't know what my next step is."

He looked at you. "Have they said you are a burden?"

"No, I just don't wanna overstay," you said. "I don't want them to think I'm taking advantage of them."

"They know you are not taking advantage of them," he said. "You just got here and you are already trying to leave. You explained everything to them and they understand. Calmate, mi hada. Slow down."

You sighed. "I know, I know."

A wishing star shot across the sky. You could feel its magic despite the great distance. To your surprise, Puss stayed quiet. You were tempted to wish for some guidance, but you held your tongue. You had a feeling you needed to.

The magical light faded from the sky. You looked down at Puss. "Why didn't you wish for anything?"

"I do not want anything," he said. He jumped off the railing then became human. His arms wrapped around you from behind. "My life is perfect with you in it."

You couldn't help but smile. "Good to know."

He turned you around and gently hoisted you onto the railing. "Why didn't you? The wishing star grants every wish beyond your limits." His hands rested on your waist.

"I didn't wish for anything because I'm listening to you. I need to take a break and slow down. I wanted to wish for guidance, but I don't want the universe to tell me what's next. I wanna find out for myself," you explained with your hands on his shoulders.

He smiled softly. "That is what I like to hear. I know the moment has passed, but I wish for an enlightening journey of self discovery for you. I want you to come out as bright as the wishing star. Full of confidence in who you are and what you want to do."

You smiled. "Thanks, Puss. That means a lot."

He picked you up with your legs around his bare waist and your arms around his shoulders. "Come on, let me put you to sleep. You need your rest."

You yawned while resting your head on his shoulder. "Right on cue, huh?"

He chuckled softly and carried you inside.
