Ch.5 War Game

So when I woke up it was 7:30 "great I'm late but how I'm at Eric's apartment" I whispered then I saw Eric sleeping next to me I smiled. Then I thought we probably don't have training today. About five minutes later he woke up and we both smiled, "good morning" I said, "morning" he said. My head was on his chest and his arm was on my stomach. We laid there then he said "ready for the war game" I said "yeah I'm excised" he laughed then we got up and got dressed then went to breakfast then he said before we went in "don't tell any one about us" and I nodded then we separated. I went and sat by Peter I hugged him from behind and sat he smiled and said "do you know what we're doing today". "We're going to play a war game" I said, he nodded then my dad came in "great" I whispered, "what" Peter asked. I said "my dad came in hear and he looks mad" then I pointed at him. "Oh Luke is your dad" I nodded then I said "where should I go", "under the table" Peter said so I went under. The my dad sat where I was sitting. "Have you seen Zoe" my dad asked Peter, "no I haven't" Peter said. "Well if you do tell her I need to talk to her" my dad said, "okay" Peter said. Then my dad left and Peter said "it's clear" then I got back up. He probably saw Eric and I last night I thought. I sighed and said "thanks" he nodded then I left. I went to the chasm and I heard my dad and Eric talking. "Crap" I whispered then my dad asked "have you seen Zoe today". "No why" Eric said. "Well I need to talk to her" my dad said, "okay I'll find her" Eric said. Then my dad went back to the control room and Eric came to the chasm. "I'm in trouble" I said and Eric laughed. "This happened twice today since my dad has asked people where I was" I said, "who else" Eric asked, "Peter" I said and Eric nodded. We was sitting with our legs dangling on the edge. Then someone said "well well well the person I was looking for" it was my dad, I gulped and slowly looked at him he had a angry face. "Eric you said you would find her and you didn't bring her to me" my dad said, "well I knew why you wanted to talk to her and you asked Peter the same thing anyway" Eric growled. Eric put his arm around my waist and we stood up and looked at my dad he shook his head. "Well I would like to talk to my daughter" my dad said then Eric whispered "I'll be by you he'll take you into his apartment or office so I will be by the door" I nodded then went to my dad he grabbed my wrist and took me to his office and Eric was following. Then once we got in my dad said "are you dating that leader" I nodded then he yelled "DONT BE WITH HIM HE WILL HURT YOU HE HAS KILLED PEOPLE BEFORE". Then he whispered "he kills Divergent's and I know your one", I gulped and said "he will not hurt  me even if I am Divergent and I know I will die because I'm Divergent" my dad slapped my on the face and then I punched him in the face then we started fighting. He pinned me and said "you do not punch your father" I had tears running down my face. Then he said "you can't beat me because I'm stronger than you" then my on arm was free so I punched him in the stomach and he rolled over and I pinned him down, "don't underestimate me" I growled. His one arm go free and punched me in the eye and I fell and crawled in a corner and cried then he yelled "LEAVE" I got up and limped since I think I twisted my ankle. I opened the door and closed it and then I was startled by Eric saying "what happened" I said "after we talked he slapped me then I punched him in the face and then we fought". Then Eric went in my dads office and yelled "WHY DID YOU DO THAT TO HER SHE IS YOUR OWN DAUGHTER" my dad yelled "WELL I DONT WANT HER TO BE WITH A KILLER" I saw Eric with hurt in his eyes and he sat on a chair shaking. I went in there and said "dad leave us alone" then I went to Eric and said "lets go" he nodded and we walked out. We got to his apartment and once we went in he said "I'm so sorry Zoe" and started crying I hugged him. It was the first time I saw him cry since he was crying I started cry because to see him sad like this. He asked "why are you crying" because to see you this sad makes me sad" he nodded then we sat on the couch and he said "I am a killer, I have killed so many Divergent's" I sighed and said "what did you hear", "I heard the yelling and that was it" I nodded and said "I'm Divergent" he gasped and said "but I can't kill you" I nodded and said. "Well I'm going to die any way so I might should die now", "No you are not going to give up just because your Divergent". I sighed and nodded then said "what time it the war game", "11:00 pm" he said. It's 5:30 pm now so we have a while till it starts.

"Wanna watch tv" he asked, "sure" I said. Then it was ten time went by fast. "Okay let's go see if the others are awake" Eric said I nodded then we went to the dorms they were sleeping except for Peter. "Why is Peter awake" Eric asked "I told him" he nodded then said "get up we are having a war game" while smacking  a meddle pipe on the rail. "Meet us at the pit" Eric said then Peter Eric and I went to the pit. Once the others came Four finally came. "Let's get to the train" Four yelled we all ran then the train came we ran and jumped on we was all in the same car. "So weapons are Nero Stim Dart guns" Four said, "its like capture the flag" Eric said I told Peter "it looks like a gun" we laughed then I felt a sharp pain in my thigh I yelled and fell. Eric shot me with it and said "it feels like a gunshot only last a few minutes" he pulled it out and said "two teams Four and I are captains". "You go first" Four said Eric nodded and said "Zoe" I walked up and Four said "Edward" I smirked and thought I can shoot Edward. "Peter" Eric said, "Jess" Four said. Yes I get to shoot two people that I hate. Once all of the teams was picked we waited. On Eric's team was me, Peter, Zack, Izzy, Kevin, Ashley, and Brad. Then on Fours team was "Edward, Jess, Rick, Holly, Matt, Brook, and Sara. We went out first to hide and we hid our flag in a tunnel and Izzy and Zack was guarding the flag. Brad and Ashley was on each side of the tunnel. Then Eric, Peter, Kevin, and I went to search there flag "they hid it in the tower" Kevin said we nodded then Eric said "Zoe and I will go to the flag and you two follow us then block the doorway when we enter" they nodded. We went up and kicked the door open it was Edward and Jess guarding the flag I started to shoot them I got bolt he of them twice and then when they was down I shot them again and Eric got the flag. He went to the balcony and waved it then I went up there with him. "We won" Peter yelled, "my team meet me up hear" Eric yelled once Ashley, Izzy, Brad, and Zack came Eric said "we are going to go Zip Lining" we nodded in excitement then he said "follow me" we went to a building I climbed the stairs. "Okay Zoe and I will harness you up" Eric said, "Brad do you want to go first" Eric asked he nodded then Eric told me what to do and then I asked "are you ready" he nodded then Eric and I pulled him back and pushed him fore ward. Then Ashley went then Izzy and Kevin. "So I have a question" Peter said we nodded then he asked "so are you to together" I looked down a blushed Peter said "so you are together" Eric rolled his eyes and I hugged him and Eric said "don't say anything" and I said "remember I'm a Dauntless born" Eric laughed and said "I'm a Dauntless leader so tell any one your dead". We both laughed and harnessed up Peter and when we let him go he yelled "can't make any promises" Eric growled and I groaned then he said "want to go together" I nodded and he laid down first then I laid on top of him and we strapped our legs then back and jumped off and was gliding down I held out my arms he smiled and held out his his arms was longer than mine so I grabbed his wrist and moved then up and down he laughed then I let go put my arms around his chest then he put his over mine and we went threw a building then went over a bar that I thought we wouldn't make it then went strait down I held on to Eric tighter and he held tighter then it was level and he said "pull the break so I did then he said "hand it to me" I did and he pulled it harder. We stopped and we was a foot away from the wall. We fell on to the people under us and then Peter asked "why did you two go together" Eric said "because you need some one to harness you up and you can't do it on your own". They nodded and we walked back Eric and I held hands on the way and then once we got back we went to bed.
