I stood at the small white house, watching. The girl the Salvatore boy had saved was kissing a different man. That's odd. She goes inside, and the guy seems over the moon.
"Who are you?" The man asked before his eyes met mine. Within seconds, his hand was around my neck, and my back was against a tree. I let out a laugh as I arched my back.
"What is with men and their kinks?" I teased playfully, letting the baby vampire think he had power over me. His blue eyes widened as if to show himself as crazy. At least that's what I was interpertating.
"I could kill you." He growled, tightening his hold on my neck. I grabbed his hand. Not wanting to play along any longer.
"Baby vamps don't do it for me." I growled as I easily pried his hand from my throat. He winced as I kept bending his fingers back. "And I am not someone you want to have on your bad side.."
"Did Katherine send you?! Is that it?" He snapped as I shoved him away.
"Katherine?" I frowned, confused by the name since I had never met a Katherine. "I'm here by my own wishes. Wanted to check on the little human girl... but that wasn't her."
"Human girl... you know Elena?" He questioned with narrowed blue eyes.
"Know her? I killed her parents." I snorted as he looked ready to lunge at me again but stopped.
"You said it wasn't her." He muttered, and I nodded.
"That was a vampire you were smooching." He looked even more confused. I let out a laugh. "Wow... you really are a baby. How old are you? A hundred?"
The man growls, grabbing a stick off the ground and ramming it into my chest, missing my heart. I gasped before laughing.
"Who are you!?" He demanded, twisting the stick towards my heart.
"Talk about dejavu." I choked out a laugh. "Here... you almost are there.." I grab his hand and guide the stick towards my heart. His eyes widened as he looked confused.
I let laugh manic laugh as he pulled away from me, removing the stick from my chest when he did.
"You have a death wish... I don't like being close with the kooky ones." He muttered before his eyes looked to the white house.
"Why did that vampire look like the human?" I questioned, straightening my jacket out and ignoring the hole and staining my shirt.
"Doppelganger..." He muttered before glancing back to me. "But that wasn't a vampire. You're just...an escapee from the loony bin."
"Hmm, let's prove it then." I said as I started towards the house. The blue-eyed vampire followed me and grabbed my arm, stopping me.
"You don't need to do that." He ensured. He was protective of this girl. I smirked as I heard the door open.
"Damon? What are you still doing here?" A red-headed woman said as she looked from Damon to his grip on my arm. I dropped my smirk and let out a small cry, playing the victim. "Let's her go!"
The woman ran over and wacked Damon, forcing him to release me. I let the woman pull me to the house. Damon looked shocked and confused.
"Wait, Jenna -" Damon tried, but he stopped when he saw I walked into the house. Without an invitation.
"Jenna? What's - " The look alike vampire had spotted me. I looked up at her as Jenna looked upset.
"Your friend was hurting this girl, Elena!" Jenna snapped as she grabbed my hand to examine the bruising.
Thanks to my powers, I was able to slow my healing to make it look bad.
"God... I'm going to kill that man!" Jenna was obviously a kind woman.
"I - I'm okay... h-he just... it was a misunderstanding." I told her in my best shaky tone. Jenna shook her head with a sigh as 'Elena' walked over to look at my wrist. She smelled so strongly of vampire.
"I'll go get some aspirin... Elena, help her to your room for now. Give her something to change into." Jenna told the vampire imposter. 'Elena' nodded and guided me upstairs. The moment we were alone, she growled and shoved me against a wall.
"Jeez, does everyone just adore slamming me against something today?" I laughed out before grabbing her and figging my nails into her skin. It fizzled before she gasped and cried out.
"Nngh!" She pulled back and stared at me. "Who are you?!" She snapped angrily.
"Clearly, you're new bestie. Can't you tell?" I smiled as I wiped my nails off on my jeans before moving to Elena's closet to pick something out. "Yikes... her clothing is boring." I muttered as 'Elena' stared at me with panic.
"You're not human..." She pointed out so cleverly.
"That's right." I sighed as I pulled out a black dress. "What do you think?" I held it up to me. The girl nodded.
"That's probably the best you'll get from her closet." She said with a similar attitude as me. I smiled.
"See? Besties. I'm Eleanor." I said as I tossed the dress onto the bed and began to remove my jacket and top. The girl let her eyes examine my body as I undressed.
"Katherine." She said once her eyes got back to mine as I shimmied the tight dress on.
"I know. The blue-eyed one called you that. Damon, I think? He didn't believe me when I said you weren't Elena." I said as I turned my back to her. "Zip me?"
Katherine came up and slowly slid the zipper up.
"So he knows who I am now? Pity. I wanted to play some more games." Katherine sighed. I smirked as I turned to face her.
"Oh, you think too small. Games don't need him not knowing who you are." I bit my lip as I turned to look in the mirror. "Thoughts? Doesn't make me too much of a harlot?"
"Looks better on you than Elena. Teen girls today have no idea how to dress." Katherine came over and fixed my hair for me.
"So why did you kiss the blue-eyed vampire? You seem older than him." I pointed out as I allowed her to fix my hair up.
"I had a thing with him a while ago. Thought I'd indulge him for a moment." Katherine shrugged as she finished fixing my hair. "So what are you? You came in without an invitation.. and you're bruised.. you can't be a vampire."
I rolled my eyes and turned to her.
"I'm a special type of vampire. The fun kind." I smirked as I flashed my fangs at her. She frowned, probably even more confused.
"I've never seen a vampire enter a house uninvited." Katherine said with a shrug. "Even the originals need invited."
"The originals are not as cool as I am." I huffed in frustration. Of course, my new best friend would know of those obsessive men.
"So you know of them?" Katherine stepped back, and I instantly could sense her fear.
"Calm down. Niklaus thinks I'm dead and the others like me. Nothing to worry about." I said as I grabbed my jacket. "Now, let's go cause some chaos, shall we?"
