Chapter Twenty-Seven

"You're leading a werewolf on? Scandalous. Is he at least good in bed?" I questioned my new friend as we stalked our way through town. She had been explaining the guy she was with, Mason. He sounds hot.

"He's not the worst I've slept with." Katherine smiles as we walk in the bar, not really caring if anyone sees us. Her cover was basically blown since Damon knew she was there.

"I prefer vampires... I get to bite them then." I hummed, causing Katherine to laugh as we sat at the bar. I frowned as Matt Donovan came to take our drink order.

"Ellie.. I didn't think I'd see you again." He said as bit awkwardly. Oh, how I wanted to rip his throat out.

"Thought I'd explore town.. get my friend and I a glass of your best wine, yeah?" I hummed, barely giving him any attention. He frowned and looked to Katherine.

"Elena -" He started, but I grabbed his chin and made him look at me.

"Wine. Now. She's not Elena." I compelled him. He frowned as he pulled away and grabbed the wine. Katherine is looking impressed.

"He's on vervain. How'd you do that?" She questioned as Matt placed our glasses down.

"I'm special. What can I say?" I smiled and took a sip of my wine, my eyes peering around the bar. I see a witch with a blonde vampire who is both glancing at Katherine. I also see Stefan Salvatore here and a vampire hunter. "So much attention."

"Those are Elena's friends." Katherine said as she glanced at the blonde vampire and the witch. "Bonnie Bennett and Caroline. Both are a bit whiney for my tastes."

I laughed as I looked back to Katherine.

"Whiney? They are children. What did you expect?" I grinned and looked over to Stefan. "Does Stefan know who you are? Cause he's listening." Katherine looked over and nodded.

"I tried to trick him already. Can't fool him clearly." She pouted slightly as Stefan walked over.

"Eleanor.. Katherine.. what are you both doing here," the baby Salvatore questioned. He seemed antsy. I tilt my head at him.

"You sound like you don't want me here, Stef. What's wrong? Afraid I'll bring trouble?" I smiled as if I knew I would be trouble.

"I'm more concerned about Katherine causing trouble than you." He admitted, causing Katherine to laugh and me to pout.

"Really? Did my killing Elena's mommy and daddy not do enough for you? I could always kill that witch over there that's trying to give me a bleed." I offered, snapping my eyes to the Bennett who was looking confused since I wasn't in pain.

"You both should leave." Stefan decided. I scoffed and rolled my eyes.

"Love to see you make me. Gonna stake me, Daddy? Maybe rip my heart out? It's been a few hundred years since I grew a new heart. Go for it." I snarked playfully.

Stefan looked at me, confused and angry. It was clear he didn't understand how I could grow a new heart.

"I'm staying, Stefan... especially since I have a new friend here." Katherine smirked as if she was winning here. Which, maybe she was. I was the strongest here. She felt safe.

"Just... don't cause any trouble.. no killing." Stefan tried to reason, knowing he didn't stand a chance with me and Katherine without a plan.

"I won't... but I'm sure my boys will be here any day now.. and Kol is a bit unpredictable." I laughed as I lifted my wine glass and sipped it. "Now run along."

Katherine looked at me as Stefan walked away. Heading to Caroline and Bonnie.

"They're coming here??" She looked panicked.

"Calm down. As long as I like you.. I won't let the mean kitty hurt you." I promised without really promising. Katherine seemed to relax at that as she drank her wine.

(This was just a filler for funsies. I'll be writing tomorrow since my kid will be in school for two hours. There should be plenty of updates, then.)
