Ayani ' s POV
(This is after Gaara Vs. Sasuke, in the Chuunin Exams. But don't worry, I'm not skipping all that important stuff!!)

As the battle gets a little confusing, I see the people around me fall asleep.
Wait... why aren't I affected..?

'Hehe... thank me you brat..'

Great... just great. Oh well... I got things to do... thank that mutt for once, then go after Sasuke and Gaara.

'Thanks. For once you do something that benefits both of us...'

Wincing at Kaosu ' s various verbal assaults, I get on my way to help Sasuke with Gaara.

Running really fast, I eventually start seeing damage around the area, along with remnants of sand.
Yep. Gaara really did happen to this place.
I keep going, not wanting to know what Gaara probably did to Sasuke by now.

Sasuke ' s POV

Gaara is insane!
Catching my breath, I stand on a tree branch.

Upon gaining my breath, I was too late. Gaara was already making his sand advance towards me.

I knew I couldn't get away from it.

Suddenly, I am grabbed by the wrist, and moved really quickly to a different tree, making the sand miss.
" Hehe... cant move much?"
A-Ayani?

Ayani ' s POV

" Hehe... cant move much?"
Sasuke looks to me suprised that I moved him so fast.

I smirk.
"All because I'm a girl, don't mean I'm insignificant. Remember that."

Sasuke looks at me questionably.
"I didn't say you were insignifi-"

I cut him off.
" We have other things at hand. Like that insane Gaara."

I nod to him, as we both start attacking Gaara.

Sasuke attacks from afar with fire ball jutsu, while I come in with my Natural Chidori.

My hand gets stuck in sand.
I grunt in pain as the sand then starts to crush my arm.

"AYANI! YOU OK...?!"

I deadpan.
"Do I ...tch....look okay?! He's crushing...agh... my hand!!!"

Sasuke then tries thinking of a way to get me out.
"T-take your time... I'm not in a h-hurry... " I shout, sarcasm evident in my voice.

"Try using your chakra wasting Chidori!"

I sigh, not wanting a potential time to become insane.

"ANY OTHER WAY BESIDES RISKING INSANITY?!?!"
The Sand was starting to sting, and it added to the pain I already felt.

Sasuke seems to contemplate this for a bit.

"No.. not that I can think of!"

MAN! WHERE IS SHIKAMARU WHEN YOU NEED HIS IQ?!

I sigh, and decide to try.

I concentrate, and a Chidori forms in my hand.
Good. One part down.
I then pull my arm out, and succeed after a while.

Feeling immense pain, I jump up into a tree.
"Tch...!!!" I hold my shoulder in pain, as the curse mark reacts to my use of chakra.
After the pain dulls to a occasional stinging sensation, I bandage my arm up.

" Sasuke!! Get off that tree!!!" I warn, as Gaara chops down the tree.
He obeys, jumping to me.

"Are you sure you can fight now?"
I nod, disliking Sasuke ' s worried expression.

'Use my power... I'll give you it... I'm not complaining...'
" THATS SUICIDE!!!"

"Er... did you receive a blow to the head? Cause I didn't say anything..."

'Bratty girl... you'll never beat him without me...'
"TELL ME... WHY WOULD I LISTEN TO YOU..."

Sasuke quiets down, thinking that I'm having a really important conversation, with whoever I was talking to.

'NEVER TAKE THAT TONE WITH ME!!! IM SAYING... use my power... it's the only way you'll win...'
' Shut up! I'm not falling for your tricks!!! If I did, I'd go insane!'
'Fine...' Kaosu laughs darkly. 'I'll do it myself...'

I grip my head, biting my lip, stopping me from yelling profanity.

"Ayani! What's bothering you?! Man... this isn't the time! Fight through it, Ayani!"

I then start laughing darkly, still clutching my head.

"AYANI!!! STOP IT!!! DONT GO INSANE!!!"

OMG!!! CLIFFHANGER!!! WHO WILL KAOSU MAKE AYANI KILL?! XD
Well, by writing this, my headache is gone! ^_^
