The Bloodshed Lizard King

In light of the War of the Hybrids going on, this is not affiliated with it and does not hope to prove it is stronger than any pre-existing hybrid, but rather an off-shoot from an earlier story (You may very well know.)

After the eventful, and devastating failure of "Project M. Rex" the scientists who survived the incident or were associated with the creation of the monster were discharged from any further contributions, and the original plan was scrapped. But, the discovery and development of a brewing shift in the world was just under the surface.

The first transgress formed off the coast of California, mistaken as a minor earthquake, with more happening globally. Then, on October 26, 2028, the first encounters between man and what would be later dubbed "Kaiju" transpired. In November of the same year, the first siege happened. The chaos happened globally, but the Kaiju were luckily small, the largest only being as large as a hippo, with 380 Auto ammunition being enough to pierce their armored hides. After this event, only a month afterward, a second siege happened, doubling the loss. The third happened, and the transgress the kaiju were coming from were found and locked down. The next siege in December gave rise to larger Kaiju, reaching the size of the Malumsaurus Rex and being even more resilient to damage. It was then Project M. Rex was revisited and renewed. New scientists were given the task of coming up with a hybrid to stand against these Kaiju and be mass-produced. This project was later renamed "Weapon H" and the beta design for the creature was named by the researchers "Cruorosaurus Rex", with the initial specimen being named "Butch". But this beta design lacked the kaiju DNA needed to fight the newly revealed kaiju who towered over 100 meters on average.

Cruorosaurus Rex's DNA is comprised of Instrancevia as a base, giving it the structure for future modification around, as well as a unique bite; being able to move its jaws in a sawing motion.
   Tyrannosaurus Rex, with its stronger bite, would be greatly useful in causing greater damage with the bite of the Inostrancevia, as well as giving it more mass and a greater tail(Will make sense later).
   Bonobo DNA is used to improve the arms and brain, giving them more functionality and tool use, as well as more prone to passiveness and socialization.
   Maip Macrothorax; improving the tips of Cruorosaurus Rex's hands to greater slashing weapons. Allosaurus was originally planned, but with Maip, all the gripping and slashing benefits are retained, and even better-slashing weapons.
   Grizzly bear; for the hip structure and shoulder muscles, allowing the beast to better stand up and put more power in its swing. On top of this, the additional body fat that could be added would be beneficial in absorbing force and damage. In addition to the next contributor. However, we will be modifying the gene to keep it a digitigrade.
   Dracopelta; for the osteoderms and body armor, but no club tail, as not only did it lack this star trait attributed to Ankylosaurus, but even if it did have one, it would not be able to be utilized as well. 
   Northern Short-tailed shrew; while sounding silly, it was recognized by scientists for its resistants to toxins in snake venom, its constant adrenaline, and "metal teeth". Combined with the strength of T Rex, and the gimmick of the Inostrancevia, when Cruorosaurus Rex was first tested against a kaiju of similar size, it demonstrated the ravenous and brutality of this jaw, shredding the kaiju to pieces and then consuming it.
   To be better suited for more environments, an additional contributor was added; Marine Iguana. This benefits the creature's already good respiratory system and some better aquatic adaptability for marine combat.

   With all these contributors, Cruorosaurus Rex had been finalized and showed incredible results, but needed one final addition to give humanity its chance.
   With the beta design finished, another Cruorosaurus Rex was being developed in an artificial womb the size of a marine aquarium, before the DNA of a kaiju similar enough to the hybrid's was introduced. The next day, the researchers found the fetus had grown to half the size of Butch, and this one was dubbed Haimatosaurus Rex; nicknamed "Mauler", from its prototype's ability to shred apart its victims. Once Haimatosaurus Rex was fully developed and mature enough, it was taken from its wombs and raised by caretakers, it was partially difficult as the baby was almost as large as Butch; who was introduced to and imprinted on by the baby. While Mauler was growing up, the coasts of the US were lost to the kaiju from the Transgressions forming around the world, and the growing number of Behemoth class and above Kaiju filling the battlefields. These behemoths were the reason for Haimatosaurus Rex's development, as no man-made weapon could bring them down like the lower classes. The reason for the Marine Iguana DNA being used was so that it could be able to fight the Leviathan class Kaiju plaguing the oceans.

By the year 2036, five years after the first siege by the Kaiju, Haimatosaurus Rex was released onto the battlefield to aid humanity in cleansing the Earth; ripping and tearing till it would be over.

Hey. A bit different for me to make something completely original, I know. But, with everything on YouTube, I felt inspired to make my own hybrid before the trend died(Even if it wasn't on YouTube). Anyway, if I ever feel cheeky, I might make a story dedicated to Mauler and his siege against the Kaiju. Inspirations came from Goji Center, and their Indominus 2.0, Ultimasaurus Imperatrix, and Madly Mesozoic's hybrid Samson's origin, with the kaiju idea coming from Dangerville, and my reason for it being a dinosaur(aside from my love of them) comes from "Atomic Rex" by Matthew Dennion. And if I ever do make a story starring my Sci-Fi monster, you may see some more inspirations.
If any of y'all wanna use my fictional creature(For some reason) please do ask, as I'd like them not to be stolen. That's all I got to say, hope you enjoyed my ranting. Also, Wattpad's way of typing out stories on Mobile has gotten wonky for some reason, and I hope they fix it as I can't seem to address it to them(Or at least don't know how to.) that's why I haven't been updating much of anything.
