Help, I've become obsessed with hybrids. Now, unlike my previous two, or some in the future, this one is based on the water, and also a shrimp (Or shrimp-like in appearance). Another interesting thing about "Frank" on that he's got the smallest gene pool of my hybrids. He mirrors this also by being the smallest(No surprise). But, let's just get to the meat of the crab and start talking about him.

For the base genome, I chose the Pistol Shrimp. Why? Because of the snapper claw on it. Even if this thing was scaled to a human (Which Frank isn't) his gimmick would still work (Not as effectively though). Besides, I think this gives a good base to build from and this is probably my favorite crustacean.

Pterygotus - second largest eurypterid in history and our second contributor. Now, as epic as it'd have been to get Frank as big as the real deal, that wouldn't be possible, and be actually disadvantageous for our shrimp. Instead, I'm taking this guy's opisthosoma and telson(the tail and paddle), and adding some more mass to Frank, just enough to make him around the size of a lobster(But his snapper claw won't grow proportionally, instead being about half of would be if we just directly upscaled), that way it doesn't take away too much of the bibble's snap. Those paddle legs will also be accompanying Frank, to better help him swim with this new tail. What this does for his behavior though is potentially make him a more active and lively predator.

Mantis Shrimp, but not for the reasons you may think. As good as those hammer claws are, we already have the Pistol Shrimp's snapper claw(And I have better close-range weapons in mind), we don't need those in addition. Instead, what I want is probably the most thought-after trait; those eye stocks. Being able to see 360 degrees, and in ultraviolet and polarized light among other wavelengths. Now, enough of the crustaceans, as we only have two more traits.

I know, its a snail. But not just any snail; the Geography Cone snail - aka the most toxic and deadly cone snail. No, I can't get Frank to shoot venom from his snapper claw, but I can give him a venomous harpoon in his mouth. This venom can work in minutes, or immediately depending on the size and creature; once in effect, numbness and intense pain occur at the sting sight, with muscle paralysis and respiratory distress that can develop over time. There's also no treatment; sorry not sorry for anyone who runs into Frank. And now for the finale, and it's returning from Ares' gene pool.

This is a Limpet. I know, it's as ridiculous as how valuable this thing could be. If you read Behemogigas 3.0 then you know that this thing's teeth are harder than iron, and what we're doing with the goethite is strengthening the harpoon in his mouth from the Geography Cone Snail, as it initially would've been made entirely out of cartilage; not that this would be impractical against soft body prey, but it would give Frank more means to bring down larger prey, where the cauterization bubble fails to kill, as it would at least stun whatever he's attacking. In addition to this, with a crustacean's exoskeleton being made of chitin, we could also add goethite to Frank's exoskeleton, making his armor even stronger.
Anyway, hope me making hybrids wasn't a turn off for y'all, and that Frank isn't too hard to picture in your mind with the traits I've said I'd given him. But let me know what you think of my shrimp.
