The Clock Strikes Twelve

Reach,

High into the sky,

Capture the clouds,

Cling onto life.

Feel,

The silky green grass,

Dancing under your touch,

The breeze twitching the earth.

Clasp,

Onto that red speckled apple,

Swinging from the tree,

Feel it's ruby red soft skin.

Breathe,

The warm dusty air,

Crisp and clean masked with fragrance,

The gentle tufts of pollen singing.

Dance,

Your heart out,

Underneath the sparkling stars,

As the rain pours down.

Watch,

From afar,

The earth in its glory,

Beautiful and free.

Pray,

For the destruction to stop,

For the tree's being destroyed,

For the animals who have lost their lives.

Cry,

As the place we call home,

Is being destroyed,

Being industrialized,

Damaging the place we raised our children.

Hope,

That one day,

This will all change,

That the earth will bounce back.

Think,

About the people,

About the nature,

About the lives.

Remember,

Things will not change over night,

They will remain the same,

Tarnished.

Band,

Together as one,

So we can fight for our earth,

So we can make a difference.
