Chloe was almost halfway through her radiation treatment already and Beca was still staying at her place. She wasn't sure if Beca was still looking for her own apartment anymore, but the ginger secretly hoped she wasn't. Chloe enjoyed Beca's company so much, that she didn't want her to move out again. While thinking about this, Chloe looked out of the car window. Beca had been to Chloe's appointment at the hospital with her as usual. Now they were driving home in comfortable silence. At a red light, Chloe directed her attention to Beca, "Hey, Becs? Are you still searching for an apartment for yourself?"

Beca turned to face Chloe, "Yeah, I am. I haven't found anything yet. I'm sorry-"

Chloe cut Beca off, "Why don't you just stop searching altogether?" Beca just looked at the ginger through confused eyes for a hot second. Chloe shrugged, "I kinda like having you around."

"You want me to stay? Are you sure?" Beca questioned and concentrated on the road in front of her again. She missed Chloe's sheepish grin and the ginger's heart-eyes looking her way.

"Yeah, I mean so far it worked out great." Without giving Beca the chance to answer, Chloe continued, "We spend almost every day together anyway and I really like waking up next to you. I don't think I want this to change. And besides we would both save time and money and-"

Beca parked the car at the side of the road and put her hand on Chloe's thigh. Chloe stopped rambling and looked at Beca's hand and then into her eyes. "You don't need to convince me, Chlo."

"So, you're moving in permanently?" Chloe asked with a smile. Beca nodded and pulled Chloe in for a kiss. A moment later, Beca's smile faded. "I need to get the rest of my clothes and a few other things from my parents'."

"We could get them now." Chloe suggested. Beca just looked at the ginger in silence for a moment. "I'll get them later tonight. They have this work event tonight. I don't want to run into them while I'm there.

Later that evening, Beca was on her way to her parent's house. She pulled into the driveway and parked her car, but instead of getting out, the brunette just sat in the driver's seat for a while. After a few minutes, Beca entered her parent's house and went straight to her room to pack the rest of her clothes. Once she was done with her own clothes, she went to Gigi's room and took some of the pictures and toys she knew were important to her parents. She had taken the pieces most important to herself when she first left and she didn't really need what she was packing now, she just did it out of spite. Beca looked around the room once more and then quickly left. Before she closed the front door behind her, she put the key down on the console table in the hallway. The brunette was on her way to her car, when her father's car pulled into the driveway.

"Shit." Beca mumbled to herself while rolling her eyes. This was the last thing she needed right now. She hurried to her car while her parents were getting out. "Don't even bother.", the brunette told her parents. Her mother's hopeful look turned into a sad one, but Beca couldn't have cared less. She hopped into her car and drove off.

Instead of driving home to Chloe's, she drove around the city for a while, until she pulled over at a gas station. Beca looked at her bag on the passenger seat and sighed. "Here we go.", she said before getting out of her car and entering the restroom. Once the brunette had locked her stall, she pulled out a little box from her bag. "Never thought I'd have to do this again.", she quietly mumbled to herself. Beca opened the box and pulled out one of the sticks inside. A few minutes later, Beca sat on the toilet fully clothed and stared at a very positive pregnancy test. "Fuck!", the brunette let out a defeated sigh. Beca wasn't ready to go through pregnancy and childbirth again, let alone be a real parent this time, but she also couldn't stand the thought of having an abortion. It felt like her parents had been right from the start.
