Thank you for reading the first part of An intangible pattern: Fate bound.
I appreciate it, given that I'm sure I have made many mistakes and done some quite diabolical things to the English language.
What started as an experiment to see if I could (though whether I should is a matter of debate) write a book. In fact, I'm rather amazed that someone has stuck with it long enough to read this. This was a way to develop my writing skills and perhaps to explore some difficult questions rattling around in my own head. It has now turned into something unexpected and with more characters and plot lines than I originally envisioned.
At this point, it seems like a good place to pause. The second part of this story requires a little more research and a good deal of weaving between intertwined plot points. I need to have a better overview of what is about to happen.
Obviously this book covers some questionable themes and some uncomfortable topics. I'm sure there will be some strong opinions about it and this is good.
You might even find yourself reflected in some of the characters.
If you do, then try to reach out for support. It's scary and it's sometimes hard to take that step, but there are good people and organisations who can help you through it and you are worthy of being helped.
If you find yourself in a situation similar to Ben or Alex, remember you cannot control what others do and no one deserves it, no matter the situation. It's not your fault, it never was.The next part will be called An Intangible Pattern: Choices.
Thanks for reading.
