Every sign will say your heart is dead,

every word you're saying is a lie..

I stumble on my own feet, cursing to myself when I almost fall. ''Kol, can I take the blindfold off now?'' I ask.

He chuckles, ''A few more seconds, Tatia, then you shall be able to see.''

I laugh to myself; I was so curious to find out where he was taking me. It wasn't like Kol to take me somewhere fancy, so I'm assuming we'll be chilling under a tree for the day.

''How about now? Can I take it off?'' I ask loudly, gripping onto his arm so I won't fall.

''Yep, take it off,'' he answers, holding onto me.

I take off the blindfold cautiously, my eyes scanning the garden-like field we were in.

''You took me to a field?'' I ask, unimpressed.

He laughs at my comment. ''Take another look around, Tatia, I'm sure you'll find that it's not just a field,'' he answers, pointing up ahead

I follow his gaze, gasping slightly when I see the bench. Yes, I know it's just a bench; but it's the bench myself and Kol went to when we were human. It was our place, the place where we

could be ourselves.

''How is this still here?'' I finally ask, ''I would have thought they'd get rid of it the first chance they got.''

Kol smiles, pleased by my reaction. ''I made sure it would stay there for enternity.''

I smirk as I walk towards the bench, ''We use to have so much fun up here.''

He nods in agreement, ''We did. And I use to chase you around the bench, then when I cought you, you'd complain,'' he laughs.

I laugh with him, ''This is honestly the best.. friendship date, ever..'' I say, unsure weather he actually thinks this is 'date date'.

He just smiles, grabbing my hand and sitting me onto the bench. ''Let's get this 'Friendship date' started then, shall we?''
