Marisela's Flowers

i walked in, knowing she had wonderful vases,
and flowers to offer.

"excuse me?" i looked around,
trying to find someone who could help.

"yes?" a woman asked, walking towards me.

"can you show me the vases you have? i wanted it to match my roses."

i showed her, and she smiled,
"looks like you have an admirer." i flushed,

"no.. it's just.. a kind gesture." i reasoned.

she laughed, "you have no idea what rose colors mean do you?"

i shook my head, "there's a meaning for the colors?"
she nodded, and brought me towards her most valued vases.

i looked at every single on and decided on one with rose patterns.

turning around i catch sight of raven black hair,
and golden eyes.

i cower and hide my face, walking quickly to the cash register.

"what's wrong?" the lady asked, and i motioned towards zayn,
"ah, he the one that's been giving you these?"

i nod, and she smiles, her eyes lighting up.

"he's a good man."

i nod, maybe too good for me.

finally exiting, i walk home,
and see two roses and a note.

it's getting fluffy.. ugh.
