Chapter 9

So the train reaches Dehradun and everyone unloads their bags full of cloths, books, backpacks and night dress.
Navya: hum to pochgaya,but what will we tell the teachers about Manik and Nandani??
Dhruv: don't worry about that, Manik had already called the school saying that he was going to come late remember
Navya: oh ya he did
They got down from the train and went to the bus which was going to drop them to Warrior High, they all sat in the bus with their luggage and the bus took off, they reached in 30 mins so at about 8:00 pm.
Navya: finally we reached, I am so tried I just want to sleep
Cabir: Ms. Navya ji don't you have to wait for your Nandu and our Manik till they come
Navya: oh ya we do
Mukti: I am totally hungry I want some food
Alya: ok so did everyone get their bags
Dhruv: ya check if you have all your belongings, if you missed something on the bus, just check
Mukti and Abhi went to check on the bus where they were sitting and surprisingly they found Cabir's coat from the uniform.
Cabir: I didn't leave anything behind I have everything with me
Mukti and Abhi: oh really then what is this ???
Cabir: oh looks like I did miss something, you see I was very tired
Navya: ya right we all see Cabir we all understand you
Cabir: thanx yaar
Navya: ab chalo, let's go in
Dhruv and Alya wait till everyone goes in to see if anyone is missing or not.
They all go in and are very happy to see Warrior High. They first meet the teachers and get separated into boys and girls.
They all stand in single file and listen to the rules, all of the, are in half sleep.
Cabir: yaar Dhruv tu sune raha hai
Dhruv: yes of course they are the rules you have to listen
Cabir: kal tum muje baatana ok
Dhruv: of course I will because I know that you are not listening
Cabir: such me you are a real friend
Navya: hey Mukti are you listening
Mukti: Nahi muje bukh lagi hai, I am very hungry I want dinner
Navya: Vibha what about you, are you listening??
Vibha: Navya, tum kab sudrogi
After the 30 mins lecture on rules and regulations they have dinner at 8:30 pm.
Cabir: Abhi, Dhruv save some food for Manik guys make rolls of the paratha and shak
Dhruv: but woh that is against...
Cabir: tu chata hai ki Manik bhukha mare..
Dhruv: Nahi yaar... Tuje Pata hai na... Rules matter my friend
Cabir: Just do what I say and get some food for him and wrap it in paper!!
Abhi and Dhruv agree, they do as directed.
Mukti: guys do what Cabir, Abhi and Dhruv are doing save some food for Nandani
Navya: yaa lets do that she will be hungry for sure
Vibha and Alya: but that is against the rules
Navya and Mukti: do you want our friend to be hungry???
Vibha: no
Navya: then do as you are told ok
Alya: ok but only for the sake of Nandani
They do as Mukti and Navya tell them to. Then dinner is done at 9:00 pm and they are told to change into their night gowns and go to bed.
Cabir to Mukti well going out: hey Mukti tell the girls to meet us at the library ok
Mukti: yaa sure meet you there
So they go to their dorms, the boys go to the boys dorm rooms and the girls go to the girls dorm room.
Girls Dorm
Mukti: girls come gather around
They meet near Mukti and Alya's bunk.
Mukti: so Cabir told us that meet in library after everyone is a sleep
Navya: ok good idea because the library is right in front of the gate
Alya: right side of the gate
Mukti: what ev's it is near the gate so when Manik and Nandani come we will be able to spot them
Vibha: ok but we have to be careful, right after everyone sleeps the teachers come for a round to see if everyone is sleeping
Navya: so it's decided that after the teachers round we will go out
Boys Dorm
Cabir: come here guys I have something to say
They all gather around Cabir and Abhi's bunk.
Cabir: so the plan is that after everyone is a sleep we all will go to the library and wait for Manik and Nandani
Ronny: what about the girls, are we going to get the girls or someone told them
Cabir: don't worry Ronny I told Mukti to tell them and explain the plan
Abhi: did you that much time to explain the plan
Dhruv: no actully Mukti and Cabir understand each other so well they, what each other are trying to say
Bublu: ohh like that
Ronny: so we got the plan now Dhruv or Cabir save a spot for Manik to sleep
Dhruv: ya sure Cabir will do that since he is sooo good in saving spots
Cabir: ya sure I will put my luggage under my bed to save Manik a bed
So in both dorms the group fake slept and when the teachers were done their rounds they woke up again waiting for the teachers to clear the path, first the boys went first.
Cabir: what are the girls waiting for, a teacher to catch them and say " ladies where are you going"
Dhruv: Cabir come on you can wait a bit longer can't you
Bublu: we have to wait afterwards anyways, so just wait now
Cabir: yaa anyways girls are slow at times
Girls are in the hallways and walking very slowly in case someone catches them.
Principal: where do you think you are going??? You are supposed to be in your dorms
Mukti: woh actully
Navya: we all had to use the washroom
Alya: so we figured why not go together
Principal: the washrooms are the other way then why this way
Navya: we lost our tracks and this is our first day here so, we didn't remember which way to go
Principal: are you lying to me where are you actully going??? say the truth
Vibha: ok mam, we were going to the library to wait for our friends Manik and Nandani
Navya: plzz hum ko jane do, me and Nandani are very close and she doesn't know anything about the school so plzz mam... Woh kho gaiagi... Phir woh bhukhi piyasi itne bade school me behosh hojiagi...are are kya hoga??? Woh.. Woh..
Principal: theek hai theek hai, bhout drama mat karo, you can go and wait, happy????
Navya: thank you mam, you saved someone from dieing, God will bless the school...
Then they run off, then reach the library.
Mukti: aj toh baal baal bache hai, thanx Navya
Cabir: oye where were you???... You know how long we are waiting for you guys
Navya: tumhe toh bohuat bade kam kiya hai, humari wait karke
Mukti: you have to wait for Manik and Nandani anyways then what is the point of being mad at us
Cabir: but we were waiting for... I don't know about....
Dhruv: chup kar Cabir, 5 min kya wait kiya, puri dhrati ko sar pe utha Liya
Cabir: ok ok I was bored, and tired, me toh sogaunja, anyone want to join me
Navya: mein hu na, I will join, I am very tired
Cabir: you are tired and what did you do just direct us, we got bags from the train and bus, and you how heavy your luggage was
Navya: toh Kay hua?? Hum toh roze kaam karte hai....
Vibha: Agar mata shree aur maharaj ka Mahabharat khatam hua ho to ap dono so jou!! Alya and I are awake... Par chila na mat agar subhe ko hum insan jaise na dikhe!!!!
Dhruv: wake us up when Manik and Nandani come ok
Then they all sleep.
In The Car
Lady: guys wake up school aagaya
Soha: finally I am in time for the night call
Manik and Nandani: NIGHT CALL???????!!
Aryaman: it is when....
Soha: you will know
Soha and Aryaman go inside the school and go to their dorms.
Manik: thank you mam, or else I don't know how we would have come here
Nandani: yes thank you very very much for the ride and you were very kind on the way as well
Lady: no need, just succeed in school and you good to go, so bye I also have to get home
Manik and Nandani: ok bye take care
Manik: chale ab
Nandani: yes sure mr. Manik Malhotra
They go in and see warrior high
Nandani: kitna bada hai yeh school
Manik: tumhari intelligence ke samne Kuch Nahi hai
Nandani: so you admit you couldn't have gotten here with out my help
Manik: tum toh badi smart Nikli, tumne itna hard test likha aur tumko sarcasm ka Matlab Nahi Pata... Shame on you my Nan's
Nandani: firstly, I am not "your Nan's" and secondly muhje sub pata chalta hai ok
Manik: I am too tired to fight or anything so let's go in
Nandani (walking): you are tired or scared Mr. Malhotra
Manik: Asa Kuch Nahi hai, muhje bhuk lagi hai ok
They bump into the principal.
Principal: hey hey watch where you're going
Manik: sorry mam
Nandani: extremely sorry, are you ok mam
Principal: don't worry I was just teasing, anyways quickly head to the library, you're friends are waiting
Manik runs into the school.
Nandani: mam where is the library???
Principal: on the right side when you enter
Nandani: thank you mam and sorry again
Principal walks away.
Manik: Nandani, do you know the where the library is???????
Nandani: on the right side
Manik: did you come here before??
Nandani: no I used my smart brain and asked the principal, which you never would have done
Manik: ok stop rubbing it in ok
Nandani: ok shall we go in
Manik: well we should Ms. Nandani Murthy, ladies first
They go in to find everyone snoring except for Vibha who is wanting for sleep
Vibha: oh you guys arrived..... Ummm.... So... Here is your food we saved for you
Nandani: Navya didn't change did she
Manik: or should I say did Cabir change.... I know this was Cabir and Mukti for sure
Nandani: tumhe bukh Nahi lagi thi
Manik: Han chalo
Nandani: go where Manik???
Manik: outside on the lawn, let's eat there when I was younger I used to eat on the lawn
Nandani: but Manik Malhotra eating on the ground???
Manik: I am not even that picky ok come
Nandani: theek hai let's go
They sit and eat only because they are like very HUNGRY.
They lie down and talk for about a 30 mins.
Manik: don't you just love these stars  they just shine so bright and just.... I love them
Nandani: well I am not a fan of " stars " but I just love fireflies
Manik: fireflies??? Why them
Nandani: when I was very young I remember my mom saying that when ever fireflies glow they are a sign that true love is in the air, it was one thing that I remember of mom
Nandani has tears in her eyes.
Manik: hey hey control yourself, I will get cursed
Nandani: why you will get cursed if I cry???
Manik: cuz right know I am with you and your parents are watching us, they became stars and they will blame me for you crying and also my dad
Nandani: your dad??
Manik: woh my dad is died in a car accident when I was 7, he was going somewhere with his agents and their daughter and I don't know something happened and they all died and I think the daughter was alive, I think my dad did his last good deed before his death
Nandani: oh a same scene went on with my mom and dad's car accident when the police investigated
Nandani was feeling sleepy, she was listening to Manik, and she went to sleep.
Manik: Nandani Kuch toh bolo mein......
He looks over to her and she is sleeping, she was looking so cute he didn't want to wake her up, so instead she picked her up and went toward the school.
Manik (in head): no no I can't go in there what if Cabir and people wake up they are sure to tease me with her
So he heads back to the lawn and he spots an outhouse and decides to go their.
In The Outhouse
Manik mange to find a sofa (couch) behind the wall of boxes and he makes Nandani lie down on the sofa.
Manik: is there a chair around here..... Oh found it
Manik sits on the chair and keeps an eye on Nandani while doing that he also fell asleep.
In The School
At 11:15
The bell for the night call rings and everyone in the library wakes up.
Mukti: guys this is the night call bell hide in the library quick
Cabir, Navya, and Bublu hide under the librarian desk
Mukti, Abhi, and Ronny hide behind the shelves
Alya, Dhruv, and Vibha hide under the computer table.
