Even without Mattie gone, it was so peaceful.

Mattie himself was so quiet, so truly it wasn't much of a difference. It was peaceful, I enjoyed this life much more than I did my other as a country, it's true, I was not longer Prussia but Gilbert. I lived with my cute, peaceful boyfriend. He truly was just adorable.

He watched tv peacefully, pancakes in his hand.

He had made those pancakes quietly, not even waking me up. It was a peaceful life, it really was. It seemed as if the days went by so slowly, I was sitting by the window staring outside. Kumajiro and Gilbird were playing outside in the grass. The two of them were cute together, almost as if they represented Mattie and I.

The two of them made a cute couple, I'm sure Mattie and I made a cute couple also.

Yes, I'm sure we did. I love his little face, his attitude, I loved everything about him. Maybe that's what made this life so peaceful? Or maybe it was the fact that I didn't have to work?

Either way, I didn't want to leave this peaceful life.
