"Derek! Derek!" Scott shouted over the sound of rain pelting against the windows as we entered the loft. Stiles and him had helped me up from the Jeep, basically carrying all my body weight while my arms were draped around them. I could barely stand I was in so much pain. I had been in and out of consciousness on the car ride over here, along with my head continuously bleeding from where Ms. Blake struck me originally and blood spitting up every time I coughed. Speaking of blood, a small dribble ran from my mouth and the metallic scent trailed up my nostrils. I wanted to throw up. had beat the living crap out of me, and it took every ounce of energy from my body.
"What happened?" Derek rushed into the room. Stiles handed Scott all my weight and he plopped me down on Derek's bed like a rag doll, leaning me so I was against the wall. My head lolled back against the hard drywall.
"Ms. Blake." I breathed heavily in pain. "She's the Darach."
"What?" Derek gasped. Stiles exited the room to fetch a paper towel.
"She's the Darach. She attacked Lydia, she tried to sacrifice her." Scott explained clearer. I whimpered in pain, clenching my eyes shut as my brain pounded against my skull.
"Then how did she get into it?" Derek asked. Stiles came back into the room, damp towel in hand. Derek snatched the cloth from him and began wiping the blood from my head and lips.
"Ow." I hissed in pain.
"We don't know! One second she was at the concert with us the next she was gone. We found her in there." Scott defended.
"I went," I took a breath, "to look," and another, "for Lydia."
"Why didn't you tell us?" Scott yelled.
"I—" The rest of my sentence finished in a scream as Derek tried touching my forehead. I clutched my head, a mixture of a crying scream escaping from my throat.
"What's going on?" Scott yelled.
"I-I don't know!" Derek stammered.
"Stop!" I screamed.
"Derek, do something! Make it stop!" Scott pleaded. I squeezed my eyes harder, trying to get rid of the pain infiltrating my head. I knew that Ms. Blake had totally kicked my ass, but I didn't know she seriously hurt me. I felt like I was dying all over again. Derek snatched my arm and started concentrating, constricting it with all his might. If my eyes had been open, I would have seen his veins pop out and turn black as he clenched his jaw together. My cries faded and turned into heavy breathing and my head fell back, limp.
